Sometimes I think it's a curse but often I ask myself what's the freak'in point? We go through this grind called life for what... what brings meaning to it all?
What's with eye contact, people make it all the time. Most look away as soon as they know you know they're looking at you... some don't, they just stare back which often results in a smile from me - I always blink in the staring contest. Everyone once in awhile they even reach out and say "hello"!!
I had one of these moments yesterday - a woman serving me seemed to make an extra effort. She even attempted to strike up a conversation... "what are you up to later tonight", my reply... "nothing really"... ekkk, I'm so lame sometimes.
There I was with a bag full of super cool clothing for Halloween which I'm sure would have been great fun to show her and I jam when she tries to find some common ground, something to talk about... or she was just being nice and could care less about my plans for the night or the wonderfully purple shirt hidden in my bag... bottom line, I'll never know.

i said the same thing to purple lens co-worker today and i got " oh, work..." maybe its not good for girls to be foward.
i do the eye contact thing i stare at everyone in buses, subways, and rarely. rarely do i get starebacks. portrait career is fun. i made... 250 NT (new taiwanese dollars, which is pocket change in US dollar) tonite. spent 50 on an ostrich pen and 20 not catching stuffed animals at those machines. it was alotta fun... i drew the guy at glasses store and two kids... angelic. one of them. the mom was gorgeous too. the elderly lady who was doing the business already wasn't very glad about me starting beside her. i mean. i suppose that's like competition. but i mean. equal opportunity, right? i drew this other girl from australia when i was going home. she was next to me waiting for the subway. she's so pretty. she's indian and she came to taiwan to teach english... anyhow. alittle too much detail huh ah i hope the holloween thing will be a blast....

i dont really so much as go through past conversations, as make up future ones. nothing ever goes the way i want it to. perhaps i should give up on manufacturing my future and take life as it comes .... NAH! things are WAY cooler in my head. haha.
and there is NOTHING wrong with talking to yourself in public. it keeps all those creepy normals away.

I'm right with you about wanting to be 3 again... I was just saying how I was thinking about going for halloween dressed as an 8 year old but nobody would get that I was wearing a costume.
