On September 6th I will be having a big birthday bash.. I'm turning 30!!

Anyone that reads this blog is welcome to attend. There will be a nominal fee at the door to cover the costs of the evening, probably $10.

I've had an interesting last couple of weeks.
I quit working at the Copper Kettle. I had a few reasons, but the final one was being able to start serving at the Rock Creek as well as cooking there. I managed to get "back home" to see my best friend while he was up from Florida for a few days. And then I went to Connect. For those of you that don't know what Connect is, it's a 4 day out door electronic music festival. It's also a pretty debaucherous event chock full of craziness and binging in various ways. For the first time in several years I actually remember the entire event. And on top of that I met a really nice girl (but she lives in Winnipeg). [cue me cursing and such]

So if anyone is headed Winnipeg way, give me a heads up if I have time I'd love to tag along to split gas.


oh yeah.. and if anyone wants to host a Passion Party her friend is looking for people out here to host or throw sex toy parties.. So let me know if you wanna help me see this girl

So today I started doing research on volunteering while I'm in China. I NEVER would have thought that it would cost me almost 2 grand to volunteer for a month. I think I'd be further ahead to wander into some remote village and offer my services to a farmer, or something.. or anything!! If anyone has any info on organizations, or groups that take volunteers for free, let me know.

ugh...

I hate mothers' day. Not that I hate mothers... I love mothers, utmost respect. But really people...put some work into it. MAKE them brunch. Stay home, clean their house, make them supper. DO NOT come to my restaurant and make me work my ass off for YOUR mom!!!

On top of that, don't make an ass of yourself by bringing 14 people of your family and tipping less and spilling everywhere, and making a general mess, and still tip less than the humble CLEAN table of 4 immigrants 10 feet away. Douche bag realtor!

I had a wikkid weekend though... spent some fun time with a couple lovely friends of mine....

which leads me to an issue. I have a particular fondness for two friends of mine. They are both fantastic, beautiful, wonderful, and special women. They are also best friends and roommates....oh yeah.. and they have boyfriends. Is it wrong for me to attempt to steal one from her boyfriend? In an ideal world they would love to have a polyamourous relationship with me, but, I know that's not really going to happen....

Any help?? Suggestions? Hints?

Well... I made the switch. I'm over on that purple site now too. So far I like it... some HOT ladies over there. And a certain fantastic photographer that I know shoots over there.

On other stuff, My masonic lodge had it's 125th Anniversary tonight. That's pretty cool... something I learned also showed me how cool the true brotherhood of Masonry can be. One of our long term members (he's 80+) spoke a little tonight. He's German....when he was a young man he was one of Hitlers Waffen SS. His best friend (passed away) in Masonry was another European man... A Jewish man.

I'm touched to the core than a brotherhood which states at as it's core purpose is to make Good Men Better is able to bridge such huge gaps as this. It makes me believe that man, truly, is good at the core, but sometimes misled by circumstance.

We ALL can be brothers (and sisters) in spirit....

I had a date the other night... I didn't go all out like I have in the past. It went well.

After 2 months I finally got my laptop back. New HD, no installed software, so I put Ubuntu on it. Ack!!! I knows NOTHING about linux.. I'm gonna have to learn.
