Writing has become very therapeutic for me lately. I've been working on a few projects, one of which is a rewrite of my film script which I would say I'm about halfway done. My other big project is taking my television scripts and adapting them into sketch comedy show. I'm thinking about sending a proposal to Donny's Skybox at Second City to put the show on there. Staying focused is of utmost importance right now. I deviate from my plans way too often, but I feel back into a corner where now it's do or die. If I want to write comedy for a living then I need to buckle down and not be afraid failure. I now have nothing to lose.

I downloaded the new Minus the Bear EP: Acoustics. I didn't think that a band that relies so much on mixers and pedal boards could pull off an acoustic album, but I have to say that this album is nothing short of amazing. I already loved the band, but now I have an entirely new appreciation for them. You can listen to "Guns and Ammo" on their myspace page.

That's what I've got for now. Maybe I'll put some excerpts from my scripts on here in the next few days.

It's times like these that I wish someone would shoot me in the face with a metaphorical shotgun. I don't understand women and I guess i never will. Words of advice. Don't tell me that you want to date me and then decide a few days later that you don't know what you want. Pick something and stick with it. I find that it's easier that way. So as we can tell, my date tonight didn't go so well, and I may be a little bit drunk. But I do wonder why I can't find the simplicity and only the complications.

So I'm single again. Things just weren't going well, and it really wasn't fair that I was being ignored and expected to stick around. She's a great girl and I wish her the best, but it just didn't work out. That's that in a nutshell.

On the good note. Work doesn't suck, but I'm still broke as hell since this whole "being an actor" thing doesn't pay extremely well until you land a gig. I have had a lot of voiceover audition lately though, so one of them will hopefully pan out.

I've started writing again, but I think that's just what I do when I'm single. I'm not sure that it's a good thing that I become creative when I'm getting over someone, but I suppose it's better than nothing at all. Now, I just have to finish this script before I meet someone.

You know what needs to play at the MusicBox Theatre....The Goonies...That would make my week. I love that fucking movie.

I now have two voice over agents, an on-camera/commercial/print agent, and I recently finished building a small sound booth in my apt. Finally, things are moving in the right direction.

I had a photoshoot with scarekrow last week for acting headshots and I've put the first completed pics as my profile pics. So check them out and check out scarekrow's photography.

Right, so filming of the show has been postponed due to one of our actors/camera guy disappearing off of the face of the earth. No worries though, things are now working out better than they were.

It does kill my birthday plans for Sunday though since I wanted to have wrapped the show that day, especially since most of my friends are out of town or working this weekend. I'll probably figure out something to do on Sunday.

Anyway, I need to go write the next episode.

Just in case you missed that last blog, this is that furniture that I bought awhile ago. It's effing sweet. Oh yeah amd a 42" HDTV.

I boughts some new things for my apt, including couches, a comfy chair, a huge tv, and an Xbox. Now, it actually feels like home. Pics will follow in the next few days.
