Week 2 is halfway done. This newborn thing is hard. Sleep is nonexistent, breastfeeding is pretty much the hardest thing I've ever had to do...I've started to dread it. Sometimes it goes well and sometimes not at all. I worry so much about little O getting enough to eat, sleeping well enough. It's so hard staying at home all day, and I'm paranoid to go out because of having to feed him every couple hours. I cannot wait until I can start giving him bottles...

I have a call into a lactation consultant so hopefully she'll be able to give me some tips. We did manage to get out of the house for a walk around the neighborhood, which was nice. I'm lucky to have a lot of support from friends and family. Just cannot wait until Owen gets a little older!

up all last night with stomach flu symptoms, completely exhausted, have wicked cramps now. yes, i know i'm not in labor...i just want to know if it's gonna be like this for much longer, cuz i'm pretty sure if it is i'm gonna go find myself some castor oil, a trampoline and some mega spicy food.

still here. still preggo. bout 8 weeks to go. getting ready to be back to myself soon that's for sure.

1. Comcast is pissing me off like crazy! Their service is so super shitty and they're lying liarfaces!
2. Everyone on the road drives toooooo slooooooow!
3. One of the lights on my way home from work is WAY too short.
4. My shittiest fantasy picks keep doing commercials. Fuck you Reggie Bush and Chad Ochocinco! Why haven't either of you gotten more than 4 points in one week?!?!?!?!?!
5. I have a yucky cough and it makes me sad.

welp, turns out i'm pregnant! about 5 weeks by my count. tested positive today! i had this whole plan about how i was going to tell everyone but that went to hell. crossing my fingers that everything is ok and stays ok and nothing goes wrong!

Had a very very successful Habitat for Humanity summer picnic today. Good times were had, and for a good cause. I must say, I'm glad it's over. The planning was getting a bit stressful with our caterer backing out at the last minute and having to do most of the food prep for 50 people within the committee, but we got it done!

Husband is off to Boston for work for a couple weeks. Missing him already but I think I'll enjoy the girl time. Not to mention full control of the TV and oodles of shopping! I'll just watch scary movies and hang out with friends. Still, it would be nice to have him around.

Looking for a job again. I found out my contract was renewed, but that means I won't be offered a full time position (and therefore no paid vacation, 401k or short term disability) until next year at the earliest. So it's time to find a full time job so we can get to the babymaking already!
