Came home for my sister's high school graduation. I'm so proud of her, she's really grown into a lovely, wonderful, beautiful young woman.
I'm also moving all of my things out of my dad's house to ship it back to Seattle. It's difficult choosing which pieces of my childhood are worth keeping and which must be sold or thrown out.

Hello Everyone! Sorry I havent been around much lately. Things have been really hectic with my BF coming back from deployment, school, the Sounders season starting and overall being a social butterfly. I've been trying to get a lot more involved with a lot of things I want to do, (and my schoolwork has been suffering for it) but otherwise things are going well for me.
A few things Ive been up to are...

We built the largest Tifo display the MLS has ever seen! It was over a mile of fabric and it went off without (much of) a hitch in monsoon like conditions!
We have season tickets to all the Sounders games so we've gone to every one. We've also purchased tickets to the Portscum away game and are doing a roadtrip to Salt Lake City for that game and to see my BF's family. I'm pumped for that one!
We've started taking the dog hiking with us, Haku is now quite a bit shiba and loves the outdoors. Since the 'summer weather' is on its way we've bought him a hiking pack (its a little doggy backpack) and have been taking him out in it. Its quite impressive what a dramatic shift in personality he gets with his pack on, he goes from a leash-pulling, distracted, dog trying to get away and run as fast as possible, to a wonderful heeling, focused and business oriented dog who listens well and behaves wonderfully around children, strangers and other dogs. he doesnt jump up on people or chase birds or anything. Hes great!
Ive been wanting to get back into rock climbing lately but we havent found time to do the belaying class yet.
We did recently (finally) buy a bedroom set, I'm so tired of hearing out shitty metal bedframe hitting the walls when it's "business time" and not having enough space for storage so we shall now have a nice bed frame and dressers and nightstands! Im so excited! The final piece to our nice looking home!
well, id better get to some homework.

Got my nipples pierced today. I had my right one pierced when I was like 16 and it was much more painful to redo today. They're pretty sore but it looks pretty good i think. Pics soon maybe.

All my foodies would be so proud. I've got a solid cookbook and food based library going. Today's additions include French Laundry cookbook, On food and cooking (breaking down cooking and food into the molecular level), In the sweet kitchen baking companion (the everything about everything baking book) and the encyclopedia of country living (which has lots of great and simple techniques for just about everything you could think of from gardening, canning and preserving to milling flour, raising livestock, sharpening knives, home remedies, even beekeeping! plus great simple recipes for everything from breads to sauces using common items and simple ingredients. some of which is useful for apartment living i'm sure! lol)

I'm super pumped to dig into them but i've got two big papers to write and I need some sleep!

My loving boyfriend John returns home on the 12th!!
My puppy's first birthday (we're going to throw him a party and I'm gonna bake him a doggy cake!)
My surprise date night that John planned but wont tell me about >_<
The Sounder's season starting and we FINALLY got season tickets!!

I may possibly see Taylor Swift in concert with my girl friend, and I may possibly see Katy Perry in concert with John.

Happy Valentines Day SG!
I got home this afternoon from my few days at home. I went home for my uncles funeral and also went to a benefit for one of my high school friends who died in a motor cycle accident a few weeks ago. As depressing as the reason for visiting home was it was a fun and happy time. I got to see lots of family i haven't seen in years and it was the first time my brother, sister and I were all together in at least 5 years. I also played cosmic bingo with one of my closest friends (its bingo with loud pop music, flashing lights and neon dobbers) it's actually REALLY fun!
I also got two new tattoos while i was home. I'll post pics soon but i'm exhausted from the travel and I need to get to bed.
