It's happening too soon this year. The longing. The trees are just now losing that vibrant first burst of green spring and I'm already looking forward to the first chill wind and dying leaves. Five o'clock sunsets. Senses surrounded by nostalgia; burning leaves, Halloween decorations. Thanksgiving.
I don't know why it makes me sad.
