She is gone. I have never been as sad as I am today. I dropped her off at DFW this morning and as we hugged and kissed at the terminal I never wanted to let her go. Who knows what will happen in the months to come, in her life and in mine, but I know that I love her and will miss her smile, the way she looks at me.
I hate being on the road.
