Oh man!!! school is keeping me so busy that I haven't had any time to come here and talk to anyone. I'm so sorry to everyone that's sent me messages that I haven't responded to, I'm telling you between work and school I have no time for myself. Luckily... well kind of.... I went to studio today but there was no monitor so I wasn't able to work on my printing. I had to use the acid baths and there has to be somebody else there in case something happened to me. So kind of shitty that I can't work on my printing plate today but at least I can come here to say hello to everyone. I took a bunch of pictures to show you some of my school stuff. Some of it is cool and some of it is not really what I'd personally do but it was stuff that was asked of me.Check it out

This is from my second drawing class when we had a nude model come in. This was interesting because I never worked with a model before. I sketched a lot more but this is my favorite and it was from a 45 minute pose.

For my drwaing class we had to go to the market to ideas and then do a composition drawing. I made a sweet multi layered stencil drawing of a meat counter. I really like this drawing... I did it all with a sharpie and a pencil crayon.

I've been having an amazing time in my printing class... I'm taking intaglio and it's so fun!! This is a picture of my first print ever. The process of making a print takes days... well at least to make the plate then it only take about two hours per print. When I made this print my professor was totally amazed... it's near perfect. I had never done this before, pretty good for a fist time!! haha.

This is another plate that I'm in the process of etching. The face doesn't show well but after I put it in the acid it should print just like a face on a dollar bill. That face took me close to twenty hours to etch.


I also have some paintings that I should of taken pictures of but they're all at school so that will have to wait till next post.... whenever that will be!! hehe.
So there you go... I'm still alive and I miss all you guys so much. I'm going to try and write as many people back today if I forget you don't be shy to call me on it and give me shit!!! hahaha.

Wow school sure is fun but so much damn work!!! I seriously haven't had much time for myself. Every single night I have homework of some sort and everyday I either have school or work. Damn!!! It's all good though... my homework mostly consists of doing collages, drawings and paintings. So it's all fun stuff for me. The only shitty part is that I have no time to do any of my own kind of art, just school stuff. So I doubt I'll be able to get that mural done before winter shows it's ugly face. One thing I do have to do is get my wheatpastes up before it's too cold. I'll do that asap!!! Get some pictures for you guys.... and I'll take some shots of some of my school stuff. Some of it isn't really what I like to do but it's still art. We had a nude model the other day and I'll show you some of my sketches from that!!!

I officially start school tomorrow!!!! Holy crap I'm so nervous and excited!!! It's been over 13 years since I stepped foot into a classroom!! I've been busy getting myself ready... that's one of the reasons I haven't been here in a while. Well that's a lie. I'd log on whenever I'd have a few free seconds, but it was just long enough to leave some comments here and there. I miss everyone here!!!

I started a new wheatpasting project recently but it looks like I might not have the time to get it all done. I have so many art projects on my plate right now it's crazy!!! And I haven't even started school so I can just imagine all the art projects I'm going to have to do for that. The wheatpasting projects was to do all sorts of animals in stencil but using tones of color instead of shadows. The first animal I did is a polar bear... and I did him in pink!!!!

I have a lot more animals I want to do but I have to start working on a mural project asap. My landlord is tired of our building getting bombed by toys so he wants me to do a mural. It's going to be a piece that has something to do with Greek mythology. My landlord loves that stuff. He wants me to use the Rape of Leda as a reference... so something with a Greek goddess and some swans or something!?! It a pretty interesting story. Zeus turned himself into a swan to bang this chick Leda and then she went and slept with her husband. Then she got pregnant with two sets of twins, one from Zues and the other from her husband, and the two sets of twins became the Gemini's. Or something to that effect!!! Well as soon as I put something on the wall I'll show you some pics.
With the rest of my free time, which isn't much since I work on the weekends now, we've been going to fun parties like Piknik Electronik. Which is so fun!!! Every Sunday they have a big party on the island with some wicked great DJ's. Last one was on Monday because that was a day off here and we got to see MSTRKRFT... so sick!!!!!! Here's some pics!!

I haven't posted in a while and so much has happened since. I have lots of pictures from Osheaga to show you!!! Rubix and me have been mad busy doing all sorts of things... tons of concerts, some sight seeing with fun people and some other fun stuff!!!

So just recently it was the Francofolies festival, which is a fest for the french music and culture. There was plenty of great bands and DJ's. Rubix and me got tickets to see Omnikrom and we were so happy... but then we found out that on the same night Yelle and Radio Radio were playing free shows. Anyways the timing was so perfect that we got to see all of them. I was a little stressful with a lot of running back and forth from the show to the fest but it was sooo amazing. I fucking love Yelle... she is so sweet!!!!

We also got to go to the Osheaga festival... two days of amazing music!!! Rubix scored us free tickets through her promotion gig at the radio station...SWEET!!!! So here a crap load of pictures from our adventures.

So that was all of our concert goings recently. On Thursday and Friday we got to hang out with Vesta and NateH. It was a lot of fun to meet them. On Thursday we went out for dinner and a nice walk to a look out spot, and on Friday we went and checked out Pineapple Express. Good movie... I laughed my ass off!!!! Vesta made us some baked goods and I have never tasted ANYTHING so good in my life. She made us some vanilla cupcakes and some amazingly delicious carrot cookies. Damn I'm salivating just thinking of them!!!!! Vesta you have to come back to make us more!!!!!!!!!!!

And the last exciting news is that I'm working at my mom's restaurant during the weekends for some extra cash!!! It's pretty cool because I've never worked in the restaurant biz before and I really wanted to see what it's all about. So I talked to my mom, she has been asking me for a while to go work at her place but I've been too lazy. Anyways she has me doing the dishes for now and soon she'll be teaching me to do some cooking. I kinda like it... it's shitty work but it's a new experience so I really like that. I'm all about new thing now... people, work, school, whatever I just want to experience new shit. hahaha.

Well for not posting in a while I think I might have redeemed myself here.hahaha.

Tonight was the last night that we had comedy show for the Just For Laughs festival. We did 5 shows in all, and it was amazing. We also did a few night just walking around the street stuff that was going on.

This is a giant termite nest all done in tape that was done by this artist named Jorga. It was really crazy looking and the public was allowed to help the artist create his master piece.


This is some guy that just grabbed Rubix and started swinging her around naked!?!?! WTF?!?!


OOOHHH NOOO!!!! A giant praying mantis is taking over the city!!!!!


On one of our bike rides home from the firworks, we were riding on the bike path like we would any other night. Then out of nowhere theres this guy walking his horse!!!!!! I mean I see everyone walking their dogs but a horse!!!! That was a first. Check it out, I had to take a picture of it. Rubix and Lee got to take a picture with it also!!


And then the last picture is of the finished wheatpaste that I showed you in the last post. I wanted to put it up tonight but it rained and all the spots I wanted to hit are wet. Boooo!!!! When I get it up I'll take pictures of it. I have a big night of mischief coming up.... as long as it doesn't rain damit!!!!

I have some new art to show!!!

This is a piece that I've been working on for a couple weeks now. I'm really happy with the way it turned out since it was something that I've never played with. Lee and Rubix showed me this stuff not long ago called super sculpty. Anyways I kind of went nuts with it. Here's what came out of it.

So after I did this I painted him and made this insane box that I lined with my ladies...haha... and then I made curtains. All of it I did myself. I even sewed for the curtains!!!



Other then that I've been working on another wheatpaste that will soon be up.



It's the Just For Laughs festival here and we have so many shows to go to it amazing!!! We are going to piss ourselves with laughter!!!!!

Wow I've really been slacking on my posts!!! Theres so much going on in the city that it's hard to find the time to do everything. All the festivals have begun!!! It starts with the jazz festival which is always fun. Last night Bran Van 3000 played for the big free show. It was insane!!! There was so many people and the music was amazing. It was a huge dance party. So this goes on for another week and then it's the just for laughs festival. We already have 5 ticket to see some great comedians!!! Oh yeah I forgot that before the jazz there was the fringe and then there was also Canada Day and Fantasia is also starting and....... Oh my!!! You see why it's hard to find the time to do everythig.

This is a sign that I did for my buddy's mountain bike camp on a 4 x 8 piece of plywood. I made 3 different stencils all with several layers. It took me soooo long to cut it but I like the finished product.

Well hello everyone!!!

Damn the beautiful weather is here so it's getting harder to find the time to post a new blog. I love summer!! We had an amazing time in Toronto for the SG gala. We went to Canada's Wonderland, did some great shopping, enjoyed amazing food, meet so many nice people and partied hard. The road trip with there with Lee, Tricks888, our friend Phil and my beautiful Rubix was one of the greatest road trips ever!! I'll show you some pictures.

Other then that I've been spending the majority of my time on my new bike!!
