Do you always do the twisted grip like that, going around the pole? I prefer just to sort of bring my hand up sideways, covering eyes (with the pole in between, of course), palm out and thumb down, and then bow down. (Argh, so hard to explain in words 
)
And the elbow grip ayshas - in the first you seem to squeeze the pole against you, and in the second one hang a bit more on the elbow. Which one do you prefer? To me it's a lot easier the more I hang out. Hanging also makes it easier to bring my hips further away from the pole, making the move look better...
It'd be cool to talk pole tech with you some time

I never cared much for pole dance, but looking at this, it seems to be much more like figure skating, nice poses and great control over your body. + it is an all women sport *thumbsup*
