YAY!!! Another blog post, only a month and a half after the last!
A quick rundown of my life since the last blog post:
School:
-I'm registered for my teaching practicum in the fall, and I'm really looking forward to it!
-I got my marks back for the last semester, and I'm pleased with 3 of the four marks. Sadly, I failed that fourth class, which means that I'll have to go back in the winter semester to gain my last three credits. I'm unspeakably pissed about that.
-I can't take the needed courses through correspondence. Not only that, but if I wanted to work towards a second degree, I'd need to still go to school for at least another year and a half. Fuck that noise.
Work:
-Work is good, except for ONE particular co-worker, who annoys me (and my other co-workers) beyond comprehension. He spends most of his day fucking around online, talking about camping, and complaining. Adding to these already annoying traits is a creepy level of horniness. I'd just like to state that I understand that people in their 40's have a sex life--when I'm that age, I hope to have one too. But to continually comment on:
1) The jiggles and wiggles of girls that he's seen
2) My sex life (A depressingly short conversation
)
3) The "juice of life" (His euphamism for cunnilingus)
4) Comparing eating a donair to eating out his wife
is disgusting, especially concidering his teenaged daughter at home. Hopefully he knocks it off.
Life in general:
-No Country for Old Men is a fantastic movie, although I'm not sure if it should have been Movie of the Year.
-Car loan is almost paid off.
-Still single.
-I went to see Cake in concert at Reds, and it was fantastic. Tthe opening band was a group called Paper Lions. For me,they stole the show, they had a great sound and great energy, and I highly recommend that you pick up their CD.
-I'm going to see Iron Maiden on Friday.
-Still trying to eat better and exercise more, with mixed results.
That's all for now, folks!
