Drove through a really awesome part of town yesterday while looking for a sex shop. Ended up being a really rich area and not anywhere a sex shop would be. Unless that is how rich people get down and I didn't know about that.

It's almost my birthday.

So this has been an amazing week. I think we have both realized that we are more perfect for each other than we could have ever imagined. This week has been filled with good food, seeing Ghostland Observatory, X-Men, Harry Potter, and lots of video games. I am so happy to have something in my life that matters again.

I just realized that I haven't been taking any pictures and I am going to solve that ASAP.

RX Bandits last night was awesome. Kinda sad I might not ever get to see them again. They did say hiatus instead of quitting so that makes me feel a lot better about it. Their show was totally different from their Coachella show which was not what I was expecting but it was still amazing,

So major much needed update. I am going to pretty much cover the past few months without the ranting.

I guess my last real update was Coachella. So after that was a series of local shows and bands that I had missed at Coachella coming through town. I think I went to like 5 shows a week for like a month. I was doing a ton of drunken soul searching and I am pretty sure it worked out. Went to Free Press Summer Fest which was a blast. Saw Weezer play all of Pinkerton.

Oh yeah I quit my job. I have something lined up that keeps getting pushed back but I think I am just kinda enjoying this summer break. My new goal is to become an Apple Genius. After spending 2 hours in the store to get my MBP repaired, only to have them tell me that it would be 5 to 7 days before I get it back, I left there happy for some reason. Everyone was super nice and easy going. I literally couldn't get mad at them. That is the environment that I want to work in. I also figure that I have my Microsoft, Linux and Cisco certifications. Why not get Apple as well.

I decided that while I have this time off work that I would do something that I have been putting off for a very long time. I went and visited Yuffie which was the best decision of my life. After a 17 hour drive and getting in at 11pm, when she had to work at 6am, I got a giant hug and half asleep conversation. It was perfect because 3 1/2 years worth of nerves were all building up at that moment and I am pretty sure that I might have made an ass out of myself if she was fully awake. We had an amazing week in a town that I have mixed feelings about. I was the tattoo'd/pierced freak in the bible belt. As long as I was out with her I didn't really care about any of the looks people were giving me. Downtown is absolutely beautiful there. Then I left and I felt like until she told me she is coming here on the 11th




I finally get my happy ending. (no, that isn't an Asian joke)
