Well, three words pretty much sums it up: Joseph Patrick O'Neal III....yep that's right. I have finally met the love of my life, my soulmate...I just wish I would've meet him a lot sooner. That would've saved me LOTS of heartache and pain. I keep telling him that I am the lucky one to have found him. Actually our meeting was a lot of coincidences that all lined up. I met him on myspace of all places. He is everything I have ever wanted in a man. He's got an incredible sense of humor, he is VERY sexy, he is very silly (just like me), he is really smart, we have similar tastes in movies and music, he treats me soooo well, like i am a princess or something, oh and he does these excellent impressions of just about anything. I believe he could definitly do some voice over work somewhere. Actually some dude came into his work and gave him a card about doing voice-overs. He never pursude it, but I really think he should have. Patrick nursed me back to health when I had my second hip surgery. And he did an excellent job, and still does. Often times I don't feel good, and he is always there to help in anyway he can (actually him just being here with me makes me feel lots better). I am definitly going to marry this man as soon as get my second degree (which, by the way will be on Halloween in 2010). Muwa ha ha ha
For those that have know me for a while, will definitly know that I am a very independant person, I love my alone time, and forever it seems I was totally against marriage. Well, all that has changed. It seems I just can't spend enough time with him. I always said that I would never be that girl that had to take her man with her everywhere. I guess I just hadn't found the right person for me, because I want him with me everywhere I go. I miss him tremendously when we can't be together because of school or work. I forsee us having many great times together, traveling the world, living out our dreams together. And I can't wait to get married and (much later .starting a family of our own).
And the sex is EXCELLENT, i must say. He turns me on like no other man has ever been able to. You see, before I met him sex was just alright. But now, I can't get enough! In the beginning of our relationship we really were fucking like rabbits (i would say it was averaging close to 3 times A DAY). He is THE BEST LOVER EVER. Period, end of story.
So we just moved to Arlington together. It was great to finally have a place of our own. It has been absolutely wonderful. Every day of it. EVERY SINGLE MOTHERFUCKING DAY!
In other news (although I am sure I could fill up many, many pages about my love), I am feeling very smart at the present moment. Just found out I made an A in my pathophysioligy class (which I found to be extermely interesting).
At the end of August, I will have to give my life over to the UTA School of Nursing. That's right, i'm going to be poking people and seeing gross shit (goody goody, i LOVE gross shit). I can't wait until I graduate. I really think that I might end up being one of those life long students. I mean, I already have a Bachelor's degree, and am pursuing my second. Eventually I would LOVE to go back and get my PhD in forensic anthropology. Now that would be a kickass job. So many plans, so little time. I really do love learning. I am constanting reading non-fiction books. The last one I read was about Crime Scene Cleanup, like suicides, and people that were dead for weeks before anyone noticed.
Yeah, so, I have quite a few things to look forward to at the present.

Oh woah is me!!! Just when things couldn't get any worse, they do. Oh boy, do they!!!
So here is a rundown of all the bad things that have recently gone wrong:
1. My car won't pass inspeciton and I got a ticket. I am about to get a new car but can't at the present because of #6, so I am driving around a piece of shit that has an expired inspection.
2. Hurt my hip again, only 3 months after I had my first surgery
3. Learned that the cause of #2 might be because the first surgeon fucked up the first time
4. Found out I needed to have surgery again on that fucking hip
5. When I woke up from surgery, I learned they removed most of the cartilage in my hip and drilled holes in my bone to compensate and that I wouldn't be able to put any weight on it for six weeks. That's right, six weeks of crutches----sore hands and arms
6. My grandfather passed away. I almost didn't get to go to his funeral because I was less than a week post=op and the town where he was buried was a nine hour drive. There was no way I could ride in a car for that long. And there is no airport I could fly into in the town where he was buried. I ended up flying to a closer town and driving for 3 hours. Navigating the airport with my luggage and crutches was absolute hell.
7. I was supposed to be returning to work tomorrow, but my work wont let me come back until i am completely well. They have a job that I could do, where I would just be sitting all day, but they won't let me do that. So I had to file for short term disability today. I won't be able to go back to work until april 10
8. I missed 4 consecutive classes for my technical writing class. I emailed my professor to tell her why (see number 5 and 6). The bitch had no compassion and basically told me I should just drop the class, which really sucks....
How crappy!
I am in a deep pit of despair right now...

I am feeling a bit better, still pretty doped up on pain killers. I am going back to work one week from today! I am really broke so this is a good thing, except for the fact that the job I have to do when i go back is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BORING!!! Because I will be on crutches until april 10 (6 weeks), I have to have a sit down job when I return to work. The only position I can work is sitting at a computer charging people for drugs used in surgery. It can't get any more boring than that. If anyone has been on crutches for any period of time and has tips for me, feel free to share because I am dying here!
I recieved the letter I have been awaiing since december and I made the first cut! I have an interview with the nursing school at the University of Texas at Arlington on March 29. I will have to be on crutches during that time, maybe they will have sympathy on me. They normally get around 600 applications and invite only 200 for an interview. After the interview, I have to sit there and write an essay. Then they accept 100 people into the nursing school. I kinda have a one-up on a lot of people because I have a bachelor's degree from the same school. The wait for the final letter will be agony! I have to wait a whole month to see if I got in.
I am also excited about buying a new car. I have never owned a brand new car before! My budget is around 20,000. I pose a question to all readers:
What car would you recommend I buy, and why?
I leave you with a picture of what is paining me at the present

I had my second arthroscopic hip surgery one week ago. Apparently things were far worse than I thought. My cartilage is in BAD shape. My doctor said when he was trying to remove the torn cartilage, the remaining cartilage was just flaking off. From my understanding, your body cannot produce more cartilage, it can just repair what you have. To help repair what little cartilage I have left, the surgeon decided to drill two small holes in my bone and the blood from that would help my cartilage. In order for that to work, I have to be on crutches for SIX WHOLE WEEKS. That is an eternity, as far as i am concerned!!!! Today is the first day that I have done some walking (had to go out of town because my Grandfather died) and my underarms are completely raw from the crutches rubbing on them. And that is just after one day!!! The doc also said I have arthritis and that if i injure my hip again, i will need a hip replacement. FUCK, I am only 27! I thought only old people and atheletes had hip problems....
I'M BAAAACK....
Ok, I think I may have said that in the last blog, but I am really serious now!
Here's an update:
I am having my second arthroscopic hip surgery on Thursday to repair the torn cartilage in my left hip (I had the first one in Aug 2007). The doc's aren't sure if I tore the cartilage again, or if the original doctor didn't remove the whole tear the first time. I am really confident in my new doctor's abilities, so, hopefully i will be fixed for real this time. I am asking for some good recommendations for movies i should rent, books i should read, videogames i should play (i have a PS2, PSP, xbox360, and a computer at my disposal), or anything else that could keep me entertained for the week and a half that i will be on my back.
I am awaiting to hear if I got into nursing school for the fall. I should know if I made the first cut in march.
I finally got started on the tattoo I have been talking about FOREVER!!!! Here are some pictures
it is a work in progress. I am going to get some additional shading on the bones for a more realistic look. Then, eventually, I plan on getting my tibia/fibula tattooed as well.

Wow, have I been busy these days! The fall semester has begun. I am taking 9 hours, and working 40 hours. I consider myself lucky, because my work (a hospital) is giving me about $5000 a year to go to school because I am seeking a clinical degree (BSN). WHOOP WHOOP! Free money RAWKS my SOCKS!
My recovery from arthroscopic hip surgery is ongoing. About three or four days ago, I would have said that it was complete, but in the last 2 days, I have been experiancing some pain. Grrr. Kinda aggrivates me. I am too busy with school and work to be feeling bad.
I got incredibly upset with my pooch, Spike, yesterday. I was smoking outside with her and it began to rain. When I called her to come inside, she brought a dead bird to the door. Now, that, by itself, did not upset me. What did make me made was the fact she WOULD NOT drop it. After a 15 minute battle, with feathers flying everywhere, she FINALLY let go. I then proceeded to fling the carcass over the fence. But, I couldn't stay mad at her for long.
In other news, I am excited about Halloween! My favorite holliday!
