How quickly we can change..

I've always been about alt culture / music / nerdiness.
Lately it's been weird though.
I've been going to the gym for about a year. I recently stopped but I miss it like crazy.
I'm showing more of an interest in sports.
I actually think Nicki Minaj is catchy and listenable.
My car playlist has changed from metal and australian hardcore to electro / DnB / dubstep.
I've been taking more of in interest in photography, geocaching and the outdoors, as opposed to video games.

Today was a decent step

Feeling a bit better today, I have made arrangements to catch up with some old friends.
Joining a new gym.
I can eat semi normally again.
The little boy whom I volunteered with in Adelaide called me tonight. Sweet kid. I can tell he misses me.
I don't miss her much at all really, just not being alone I guess.

This is me. In desperate need of a haircut and a shave.

Bold truths about my current state

I don't mind that not a lot of people read this.
Just getting the words down is enough.
It's been about a week and a half since I made the journey back from Adelaide with my tail between my legs.
It's been almost that long since my ex and I stopped speaking. I'm not counting on her messaging me soon, and I'm not overly willing to subject myself to her for the moment.
Truth is.. Breaking up; while sad. Has made me unbelievably...horny? (don't worry..you are all safe).
It's weird. I guess on one hand I miss the sex I was having. Then there are the infinite possibilities of the sex I could be having?
Like I said; it's WEIRD.
I miss my gym, I hope that my eating/sleeping issues subside soon so that I can find a new one.

Most of my previous relationships have stemmed from friendships or past acquaintances.
Also, what is the best thing to do to get a gal's attention.. Say if I did meet someone randomly whom I'd like to date / pursue.

Anyone have tips / pointers / must have equipment?

I'm into nature / wildlife / portraiture shots. I have a low-midrange Nikon DSLR and a the standard lens and also a longer range 200mm lens.

Any help is appreciated.

I got dumped the first time this week.
