I found this picture in my parents attic a while back:

The inscription on the back is what interests me: the fact that months were still a valid unit of age, i.e.: X years and Y months old. I seem to remember some incident involving scissors and my hair, to explain the missing section of fringe.

Work
I mean 6 hour long meeting? Meh. I have decided that Aztec West, Bristol is Centre-Parc's take on Gulags. You'll understand if you visit.

Weekend
littleaardvark has come to visit. Which has been good fun. I go to work, and she has cooked for me. [note: I didn't ask/request/force cooking upon her].

The Cheshire countryside will never again feel clean and pure:



I'm escaping Salopia next weekend for the brighter, bustling lights and sights of the big city. Currently deciding between:
a) Sitting on the M25 for an hour and a half on Friday night and watching the planes at Heathrow in the traffic,
or b) taking a 7 hour train journey home, due to 'engineering work'.
The train is £1 cheaper than fuel.

Which method would you prefer? Train has potential for random train conversations, but lots of waiting. Car is quick and my own music. £, time, env'l kudos?

We went to see Hard Candy last night. Which is a very well put together, scripted and acted film, if a little uncomfortable to watch. Although it may have been better if the story had explained her motive a little better.

Which reminds me I, need to watch Audition at some point.
