As much as I agree with you (about the Jamie-Lynn Spears bit), I personally have a tendancy to just click on the stories straight from the main SG page myself... I always forget there is another way to go in and find them! I think I probably miss out on a lot of articles this way... 
Also, don't worry about the people who feel the need to throw the negative in with the positive - they're usually the people that are just looking for something to bitch about, or need to try and make themselves feel superior to someone. A 
usually shuts them up! LOL
