I had brunch in a tavern that was built in the 1700's. that served me a bottomless glass of Poinsettia a yummy little drink with Cranberry and champagne.

My brunch was little blue berry muffins and eggs and honey sausage and bacon and garlic potatoes oooo and fresh fruit.

The bacon was really good which I love bacon huge fan of it.If I could I would wrap bacon in every thing. Yummy

So this whole bacon thing go my friend and I talking about are great love for bacon and he informed me that he just ordered bacon Gum on line... ( blinks eyes) WHAT bacon gum who would ever have thought






There are a lot of streets like this in Alexandria , beautiful cobble stones, and big old homes that dates in early 1700's. I have a great love for old things and I always wanted to go to School for restoring old buildings.



So I looked it up and Here you go.. this thing is for real bacon gum!!!

So we sat and talked of bacon and we did some People watching, Pointed and laughed and some silly kids by this time the drinks were hitting me pretty good and I was ready to walk around the old towne.

Okay so the picture of me is not that good but it was so sunny and bright there I had to Squint because I forgot my sunglasses. This was the Market Place by City hall, This was are meeting spot. where we smoked are smokey treats and took rest breaks.

This is also where I figured out that we were the only one's smoking. I actually got glared at. By townies. I think Alexandria is a big Health nut city. Everyone is walking dogs and running around. They have water for people's pups and People kept saying hi... i loved it there !

Also the animals there like birds and little rodents are huge very fat they are fed very well.








Every where you look there are beautiful flowers and Alexandria smells so good everyone has beautiful Landscapes to match there beautiful homes. I'm a window watcher .. I like to peek in People's windows. Those old homes that were restored are so beautiful inside it took my breath away.

Now the fact that I love old things there's a side of liking old things that I don't tell a lot of people. IT's this I love old cemeteries. I'm not gothic or anything like That. I just love The old tombstones and the Poetry on them.





Do you know what that is on top of that tombstone, it's one of those magic 8 ball things, But it has a eye on it instead. You know you shake it ask a question and it gives you a generic answer to it. Yup one of those. i never saw one that looked like that. and why was it on this old Tombstone? Questions and no answers....

So that was my trip, I had a lot of fun and walked so much and now I"m sleepy and i"m going to sleep good.
