stopping the drinking came pretty easy for me (it was moderation that was the real problem i had). i've never had an addictive personality, so once i decided to stop drinking it just happened and was never really an issue. i spent the first few months working on my social skills because drinking was a super easy crutch for me to be outgoing (i'm a very introverted thinking person) and so i had to practice all those same skills again sober.
one of my big goals at the time was to have a first kiss sober. i'm flirty and adventurous but it was bothering me that i really couldn't remember the last time i had a steamy first kiss that didn't involve me having a few drinks beforehand. so i really wanted to reach this goal. the first few months i was having a hard time meeting new people. i just didn't know where to meet them that wasn't a bar or a club. but then my super sexy sixsixty luck kicked in!! and i'll tell you the secret.
it all made sense after i realized this and i then started to meet a ton of amazing people. yay for that! it's also the reason i got to meet bob!
so far the only drawback with the not drinking is that i feel like i have a lot less adventures in my life. i used to really enjoy drunken adventure days. some of my favorite memories (actually most of my favorite memories) have all been days with close friends, heavy drinking, and running around cities. i still have close friends and cities, but it just seems with that combination alone my ability for adventures has taken a nose dive. so that's one of the current goals still. if you have any info on sober adventuring, i would love to hear it.

um, i love katie danger and katie danger gave me herpes, but i don't have it yet. i'll probably get it in a few weeks i assume. i'll be sure to take pictures. she told me i couldn't keep it to myself and i have to share it with others. i love that girl. kawai wins. update:
i was dancing in the street with mikee on saturday and we jumped up on a curb and i nailed it. i cut my eyebrow and bled everywhere. it was pretty amazing how much blood came out, it was actually really exciting. even better, i think i'm going to get a pretty sweet scar right on my eyebrow, how fucking cool is that!! kawai wins.
i'm trying to grow a beard for november beard month. i tell myself every year that i'm going to do this. i get about a week and a half to two weeks in and i hate it and shave it off. this year i'm starting early and i'm about 2 weeks in. it is definitely not awesome right now. i think if i can make it one more week, i'll be able to hold on to november. currently kawai loses. and itches.
let's see, what else. i went to vegas months ago and it really was an amazing trip. met a ton of cool people, hung out with my family, drank til 6 in the morning at bars and hotels. awesome awesome trip. um, went to la a few weekends ago and had a really amazing relaxing trip. went to a day spa and hung out at pools all day. loved it! kawai wins.
i'm getting slightly better at guitar hero. doing pretty ok on hard mode, and i got my first 5 star on expert mode(an easy song). been playing zelda on the ds. waiting for halo to come in the mail hopefully soon from gamefly. kawai feels like a dork.
i'm avoiding halloween this year, except i'm going to a pumpkin carving party tonight. i will say no more on this subject, and i will not be swayed! kawai is a grumpy old man.
i'm assuming i have recent pictures from the last time i posted pictures, but i have to go to work. kawai is procrastinating.

back from vegas. it was f'ing amazing!
I need you all to go out (and maybe get drunk) and find a blond haired girl with long legs. then take a picture of her standing next to some money. technically this will be a shot of a "leggy blonde standing next to money". ok got it.

points will be awarded for promptness, humor and style. the currency or amount of money doesn't really matter so much, but the legs, blonde hair, and money in the shot do.
