well, i think it's about time i gather up all the pieces of my life and put them together in proper order instead of constantly juggling them and losing one or two down the storm drain on occasion. i got a little dirty digging them out of the sewer, but with a little antibacterial soap and a scrub brush, everything will be as good as new. sink swim sink swim swim swim swim swim. now that i"ve learned, it should come easily. at least i got to meet a few interesting creatures down there.

don't forget to be passionate about something. something, not someone. that ruins it.

i wish i knew whether to cry, vomit or have a celebration. i have a feeling though that it doesn't matter.
To everyone I saw on Friday, thanks for coming out! It's very much appreciated!
Saturday I slept so much, then I woke up and went back to sleep. I finally put on clothes sometime in the early evening and got coffee and an LA Weekly, cleaned up a bit, then went grocery shopping for the Superbowl. I love lazy Saturdays. For some reason, grocery shopping was extraordinarly fun. So fun that I ended up crying in the aisles (tears of joy!). I couldn't stop myself. I'm sure there were many people wondering why some nutty girl was giggling uncontrollably through the supermarket. My exciting Saturday was topped off with hot wings (we had to test drive them to make sure they were good for Sunday) and beer.
SUPERBOWL SUNDAY! Now, I am not exactly a sports fan. I don't know anything about football at all. However, I am rather fond of friendly gatherings that involve hot wings and copious amounts of beer. We gathered around 3PM, missed the kick off because we were defrosting wings, then spent the rest of the time gorging ourselves on incredible amounts of food. I swear, I ate more yesterday than I have collectively all month. I think I have a food hangover. We didn't really watch much of the game. Once in awhile someone popped in to check the score and yell "Go Eagles!" between mouthfuls of chicken and potato chips.
I rooted for the Eagles because I love Philadelphia and they have better colors than the Patriots. I guess that's what I get for judging a book by its cover (or a football team by their hot uniforms).
Things to do:
Finish cleaning
Find new apartment!!!!!! (goodbye hellhole in Little Armenia. How I won't miss the children above me running on my head at all hours of the night, vacuuming and polka music at 3AM and the crazy dude that lives at the end of the hall and comes out every once in awhile to mumble at me. Scariest guy and I can't understand a word he says. I think he keeps asking me to take him to the store to pick up something. Or him wildly gesturing outside while waving money at me means something completely different. Who knows. I don't think I want to.)
I want to travel.
Oh, and here's a toast:
