Heading to New York in about a week and a half for New York Comic Con. Anyone else going?

I'm looking into moving. I've never done it before, but I've always had a wanderer's spirit, and though I've always come back to Lebanon, I've never felt like it was home. I'm thinking I can handle a big city, and as such am looking into Boston, New York, Chicago, or Seattle. Any thoughts? Words of advice? know any place that's hiring at a decent living wage for any of those places? Anything at all would be appreciated.

So, I guess the Suicide Girls are going to be represented at Wizard World Philadelphia this year? Anybody know any details on this?

This year, I've gotten back into baseball in a way that I haven't since I was 6 or 7 years old. It has been nice to see the Red Sox rally from a 2 run defict in the 8th to win by 1 in the 11th on friday, catch up to beat the Yankees 16 to 11 last night, and to watch them as one of their players steals home plate for the first time in 15 years to widen their lead, and to hold their lead for 2 solid innings. I hope the rest of the season is as good as the last few weeks have been.

So I asked a girl out about a week and a half ago. She agreed to lunch. At lunch, she told me she was hesitant to get into a relationship due to some things that she has to work through. I was understanding, if a bit disappointed. Lunch turned into lunch and a movie. I've seen her half a dozen times in the last week. I met her family and her best friend. Tonight, while we watched The Princess Bride, she turned to me.

"What are you thinking?" she asked.

"I really like you," I said.

"I was thinking the same thing. Okay. Will you answer one more question for the night?"

"Of course, what is it?"

"Will you be my boyfriend?"

"I don't think I can say no to that." It was nice to be asked. I don't know that I'd ever been asked that. I am very happy with that. Now, I just have to hope I don't screw it up somehow.

I am a sucker for a girl with too much eye makeup.

I just found this out.

Also, I know I'm a nerd and I've come to terms with that, but, with that in mind, I would like to pose a question.

Does anyone other than me find the idea the Superman has an answering machine at the Fortress of Solitude as funny as I do?
