Wow. I think I have ran another gal off. I mean I thought we were getting along good. And now, I am not sure.
Yuck. It's hard to believe that my 20 year HS reunion is coming up. But I have to laugh though because I just found out I have been nominated for an award this year. It's kinda of a joke but it made me feel good when I read it, I was never really popular in school and I have never considered myself to be very attractive but... I have been nominated for "Class Lady killer". When most of the people of my graduating class are now going through divorces, have multiple kids, gained weight, loosing hair, and gone grey... I am now a stand out. And I am getting messages on facebook from gals that I was interested in back in high school saying they hope I am still single when I make it to the reunion. Most of the gals that I was interested in then are not anything to speak of now but man does it make me happy.
Retribution! From all the gals that wouldn't give me the time of day in school whom now want to jump my old bones. LOL! Quiet funny.

Go to call Mom and wish her well and stuff... but my phone is kaput. For some reason it won't let me make calls I can receive them, send text but when I dial out the phone rings and rings and rings but nobody ever answers. I know this for fact as I went over to my neighbors house called him while his phone was in his hand. Mine said he was ringing his never rang.

You know it's funny I have been reading a lot of the reviews of the new Marvel Comics movie Avengers. I was a big comic book fan as a kid, (I still like them but I just don't collect them any more) and as a kid I used to have a bunch of Avengers Comics.
Now if you go around and read some of these movie reviews from critics most of them seem to believe that the Avengers movie was just a reason to tie all their previous movies in together to get another block buster movie on the screen. This may be some what of truth but I think the reason for the previous releases were so that Marvel could do this epic film which could amount to another great trilogy if they handle it right.
I mean how do you follow the Spiderman, Ironman and X-men trilogies. Well you create a trilogy of that has all the elements of the previous movies and most of the characters. Though I think they could have done with out the Hulk version. I am not a big fan of the Hulk as a comic nor the movies. Also I don't think the Hulk was ever on the team with Hawkeye and Blackwidow. Beyond that if I was going to push a character to replace the hulk it would have to be Vision, or the Beast if you want a bulky monstrous type character to the movie. Hell adding the Beast would be a good way to get Wolverine involved in the trilogy... since he too was once an Avenger.
And just to make another point I find it's also funny to that I didn't get a lot of response when I pointed this out on FB. I think my geek exceeds that of many of my friends. I may have just been disowned by most of them.

I have a new job... it's great, but it's taking me some time to get used to this pay schedule.
I have 2 roommates.... 1 great and 1 flake... the great one is funny chatty and a little rockabilly pin up gal... the other... claimed she was a friend of a friend and in dire need of help. I should have followed through with a reference check on her because I would have known better. But she was in dire straights and I am a sucker for trying to be a hero. Anyway the great 1 is moving out because of the flake and now I am pissed that I didn't do the follow up like I knew I should have.
And finally I am dating again... She's a singer. I have a weakness for performers. She's been facing some fears to fit me which I am not sure I like. I mean I like that people want to better themselves but I don't like it when people try to make themselves into something they aren't to suit another person's interests. Hopefully she's not doing that. And I am also leery that I may be a rebound guy for her. Time will tell I guess.

Been busting my tail on this project I have been working on for the past few weeks and I don't feel any closer to being done and it's do tomorrow. Ugh. Good news is I get to escape for awhile and go camping this weekend.
