Man, can't believe I've not been on here for a wee while!!
Not been the best of times, unfortunately as lost my job yesterday due to them being BASTARDS!!! Basically, it's going to a tribunal because I was fired for being off sick. Going to lose my flat but no point in stressing too much about it as will only make me feel worse. Just have to look for a new job when I get better.
Cheerier matters...went to the Street Art Vs Tattoo Convention in Cardiff. Was a bit small scale but had such a good time as had never been to Wales before. Rented an apartment for two days with my girlfriend and we drank copious amounts of Jager and bourbon, then sampling Cardiff's nightlife.
Went to a rock club called Fuel and there wasn't one emo fringe to be seen!!!

Well I did it.
Right at the start of my relationship with my girlfriend I mentioned that if I lasted longer than a year with her, I would get an five stars on my left wrist (pretty much what she has on her back!).
We made it, I got it scribed on Monday. It nips but that's one of the nice things about getting a tattoo, isn't it?
I guess its meaning is only known by both of us as to anyone else it's just five black stars with a red outline (I'll get a pic up...eventually).
I'm not mad enough to get her name tattooed on me. That WOULD be a jinx!!

Jeezo! I've not posted anything here for a while.
Not much has happened. Still off work. Still trying to keep as active as possible, whilst planning my trip to Cardiff for the Street Art Vs Tattoo Convention in two weeks.
It's my birthday on Friday as well. Going to be 33 but no biggie. No wrinkles yet or grey hair (erm, maybe I should stop dying my barnet just to check but have been doing so since I was 15!!!!!)
Yes, bourbon will be involved!!!

It's been a wee while, eh?
Just got home from my jaunt with Sarah to the Isle of Arran, as mentioned in my previous blog, and had such an amazing time! Left on the 9th and the weather was beautiful and IT WASN'T RAINING....a first for me when travelling by ferry. Check out the colour of the sea...
We'd decided that the better (i.e cheaper) option would be to just camp rather than spend all our money on a flash hotel (we will next time!!!) and didn't want to travel too far as she had a photo-shoot for her job the next day. Got off the ferry and walked along the beach and found a really nice spot...as secluded as we could get and erected the tent and got the disposable barbeque on...
Morgans Spiced and veggie burgers!!!! We are the posh kids!
The world's smallest roll...she looks impressed doesn't she?
Did have an excellent photo of me and Sarah, drinking from Power Rangers cups (hey, they were disposable) and looking very drunk but it came out upside down - whoops!
We couldn't have asked for a better day, just sitting listening to the sea and talking about this, that and everything. When it got dark we made a huge bonfire, which we kept going with a mixture of lighter fluid and driftwood, and stayed up till we got to drunk to move for any more wood.
Needless to say, we slept in and missed the ferry the next day...she still made her photo-shoot though!!!
As for this very fine Saturday evening...not sure what to do...very skint but I am also very, very bored. Should I keep that few £ for food or should I have a nite out.....?

Resigned myself to a Saturday night in for the first time in ages, quietly planning a few days away up in the Scottlish Highlands. Just me, Sarah and a bottle or two of Jager!!!
Not sure where exactly to go but Arran (which isn't in the Highlands but a small island on the West-Coast) is amazing this time of year...
Anytime I've been before it's usually been with my friends on our mountain bikes, getting soaked and bruised then setting up our tents and having beer for breakfast. This time though saw a hotel which has four-poster beds and a jaccuzi!!!
Can't say anymore incase she has a peek.

Been signed off by my Doc for another two weeks - dreading to see how meagre my pay-packet will be - and having to try all manner of other medications. To fill you in, got diagnosed with Chrones Disease about a two years ago and basically been poked and prodded and guinea-pigged on every medication since. It's not cool as have to watch what I eat, avoid stress and keep having to buy different size clothes as my weight keeps going up and down.
It's been a rollercoaster as it's caused me to lose friends, partners and even got more or less sacked by my job of five years (little did I know they were in breach of the Disability Act but they kept that quiet
). It's been difficult but my family and my girlfriend have been there for me. I just have to accept that I'll have flare up's for the rest of my life.
Just fed up watching Springer re-runs on daytime TV (though watched one recently with fighting migets - amazing!!!)

Got sent home from work as still not 100% - really miffed as, as much fun as browsing the web and drawing is, I hate being stuck at home when there is mayhem to cause and other alcohol-fuelled pursuits (I'm not a total drunkard by the way...) to pursue!
With that bombshell, I'm not too sure what I'll be doing now. It's actually a year to the day today that I met my Sarah and I can't be with her. Gave her a call and asked her to have a Jager or four for me tonite. I'll see how I am tomorrow but don't want to get my hopes up.
