I miss my girls already.

Holy Guacamole. My life has been nuts this past month.

I moved from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati. It's a whole new world down here. People are nice. It's mind blowing.

I've also been working out a lot. I'll be modeling on Hell City weekend, so I got my ass in gear.

I still have some work to do, but it's getting there.

February 1st is National Wear Red Day.

It's to raise awareness for heart disease, which is the number one killer for women.

I almost lost my mom to a massive heart attack in 2010, and found out about my heart condition that same year. We had symtoms before that, but didn't know it.


5 THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO FOr ME:
Take 5 minutes to look up the symptoms.
Check your blood pressure for free when you see a machine at the store.
Take fish oil for your colestorol.
Eat less red meat. (I don't eat it at all)
Drink more water.
Think about your heart when you eat fast food.

Am I the only adult that is obsessed with stickers?

A huge thank you to everyone that offered me support with my medical issues and my fear of that stupid MRI machine.

I had the MRI...and it was soooo noisy, but I took it like a man. They offered to play me "heavy metal" on their Ipod......and it played Kid Rocks Bawitaba......WTF? haha


Apparently I have a condition where my body doesn't absorb vitamins and such. Sounds fun right? I was diagnosed with iron anemia as a child, but they never tested further. Turns out that I have a B12 deficiency and a D deficiency. Both of which have helped cause both my neurological problems and my heart problems. I also found out that I have high blood sugar, but I can control it with diet.

Sooo has anyone had a stress test? Aparently that's next for me.

The good news is that I just have to control my diet and take a few pills everyday.....and maybe a shot if that one pill doesnt work. Let's hope that my cardiologist has a simple solution like my neurologist did.

But honestly, thank you guys so much for the pep talks about the MRI.

Hey Ya'll

Well, I've been having some medical issues that I haven't said much to anyone about. I haven't posted about it on my personal FB, or even said much to my family. But, my friends here have got me through a lot, so I'm going to lay it all out.


In the past 2 months, I've been going downhill. I have a laundry list of symptoms that include not having fully functioning hands. I met my neurologist this week, and I get to take a boatload of tests. These include an MRI an EMG, some test where they poke you with needles, and a ton of blood work. They want to figure out which of my disorders is causing my neuropathy and how bad the damage it. My doctor said that, after treatment, I'll gain full function back. Idk. I'm just frustrated.

So....... Who's had an MRI because I'm not looking forward to it.
