Today's a special day for me. It's the one year anniversary of the day I quit smoking weed.

This was me a year ago:

Hard to believe it's been a year already...

Basically, I decided to quit after feeling like I was going to hit rock bottom again and didn't want that to happen. And there was a lot of times I was tempted in doing it again, but I didn't. Again, I have to thank my friend Zina for helping me throughout the whole year and just being there to listen. She's been the only one I have been able to open up to about almost everything, and for that I am grateful. Who knows where I'd be right now if it wasn't for her, and I don't want to know.

I feel like I'm finally getting my life together and cutting off everything and everyone in my life that isn't helping or has helped me move forward and just seem to hold me back.

Next thing I'm focusing on is stop drinking completely, rather than just these once-in-a-blue-moon events.

My friends called me Billy Idol that night...

Also, I'm trying to lose the rest of this weight I have gained over the past few years. I have gone from XXXXL shirts to wearing XL, and from 42 to 36 waist and I'm hoping to continue building on that. To celebrate, I plan on getting a tattoo starting from my belly button to below the waist line.

And finally, I plan on moving out of Maryland and heading to school. I feel like 7 years is enough and I need to experience new things. Like Slug of Atmosphere said, "Complacency seems so simple."

So hopefully '08 is my year and everything goes right. *knocks on wood*
