Love came to me today. Asked me if i would walk with her.... i paused and said I didn't have time..she laughed ....I cried...Love came later and asked me why...i broke down and told her that i was sooo full of hate and that life was rotten....she put out her hand and touched my cheek, the touch felt like pure infinite, golden fun...i smiled at her and burst out crying. .. now I'm burning in love's delight....and crying in a fury of self inflicted pain... through this love gave me another gift though... one that you know so well... a gift felt through sorrow...a gift of life lived...of chances taken..of risks engaged..of feelings both triumphant and grieved.. of life's jaded and warm, soft chocolated degrees.
