Hey everyone!

I just wanted to let everyone know that voting for casting for Style Network's "Split Ends" ended last Friday! I accumulated close to 800 votes, but since I was about 2 weeks late for signing up, I didn't make it.

However, that definitely gave me some initiative, so next time voting goes up for the show again next year, or any other series pertaining to hair or otherwise, I will let everyone know!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be returning from Colorado on Monday, July 7th around 6:30 p.m. So if you would like to start booking your next hair appointment or hire me for a photo shoot, I will be back soon!

Next Saturday, July 12th is my 27th BIRTHDAY (I know, I am getting old, haha)! Even though I begin shooting for the short independent film "Scorpéo Cutlass" (I'm acting in it), I should still have the night open to going out and doing something for my birthday! Hey everyone!

So I have a ton of great news and updates for things happening with Shear Terror that I would love everyone to hear about!

First of all, I was interviewed for a feature at Hairburners.com! If you would like to read the interview, check it out by clicking here!

I have a couple of things in the works right now...

One of the most exciting is that Shear Terror T-shirts are under way and will be available for purchase in the near future! I will have a small initial run at first, but the more positive feedback I get on them, the more they will become available! And these aren't going to just be shirts with my logo on them..think something along the lines of the clothing line Affliction as far as design goes! You will WANT to actually wear these!

Also, with that being said, once the shirts are made, I will be featuring a new section on my page, Shear Terror Models! What this section will be for is models I know or who are interested in supporting the foundation and philosophy of what Shear Terror is all about! This will take a few months to put together, as I will need to get the shirts first and be able to travel to certain models in order to cut, color, and/or style their hair specifically for a shoot, having them model the shirts and hair for it. I already have a few models dedicated to the idea, but if you or someone you know would be interested, please contact me!

I am working on a marketing plan exclusively for Shear Terror as well, especially locally, to bring more attention and clientele to my services at Revolution Studio. My freelance session work is obviously taken care of, but I still need more clients in at the salon! Anyways, for the web, I am working on getting banners, my page, and a few other promotional materials done, but I will be putting a lot more footwork in soon, with my new business cards (which are available, if you would like to hand some out) and flyers (which are currently underway), offering special promotions and possible discounts. I will be putting together a street team as well, attending social events and nightclubs exclusively to promote Shear Terror, so in the next few months, keep an eye out for myself and others! If you want to join me, just let me know! I will hook you up on a few services for helping me out!

Finally, next Friday thru Sunday, I will be down in Tampa and it's surrounding areas for a couple of photo shoot gigs with on-the-rise model Chelsea Darling! During my down time there, if you would like to have your hair done, or if I have any available time for a photo shoot while Chelsea is busy with family, let me know! I will be stretched for time, but still, don't hesitate to call me and see what's going on while I am there!

I want to say thank you everyone and show my appreciation with all of the interest in Shear Terror! Things are rough right now because I am just starting to get this whole concept off the ground, but with everyone's support and belief in me and what this stands for has helped me out tremendously! Okay, so everyone and their mother is going to hate me right now, but I've been working on alot of business-related stuff lately, and have decided to switch some stuff up on Myspace. Here's what's going on...

I started a NEW Myspace business page: ShearTerrorHairDesigns.com

Right now, I have the same layout as I had on the old one, and I'm working on transferring over all the photos and info over to it. I have a brand new business logo that I will be receiving tomorrow, and I will have a completely new layout and design for the main page in a month or so! As well, I have changed my e-mail (if you need the new e-mail, message me).

The other reason for this switch is that I now have a dot com address forwarded over to this new page (ShearTerrorHairDesigns.com), so this new profile with the dot com address is what will be going on business cards, flyers, etc. I have basically decided to start promoting Shear Terror! Hair Designs itself as my business more now! Plus, linking people to Myspace.com/travisSUICIDEstylist would just be a little wierd, haha. Not only that, but I have become very busy over the past few months, with many new opportunities and business-related matters opening to me, so I'm now pushing the Shear Terror name to it's fullest extent!

So I need everyone to start adding the new profile now! I will be deleting the old profile as soon as I get everyone transferred over to the new profile, so please take note of it now! Thank you for your patience!
