Finally submitted my FAFSA and applied to culinary/pastry school. I'm excited to see where this goes and hopeful that it allows for a future I can be proud of.

So excited to finally have started my other arm! I only had an hour yesterday to have something done, it wasn't enough to add any characters in their entirety, so rather than doing an outline of HK-47 on my Wars Sleeve or just filling some of the empty spots with space, it just made more sense to start on the other sleeve. What makes me more excited is that unlike my Star Wars sleeve which has taken 2+ years, I should be able to get my DBZ sleeve done in a year or less due to it mostly being outline stuff rather than the super detailed shading that had to go into my other arm. Next session is in two weeks and I'm getting Mr Sinister done on my shin, then Octobers session will be either filling Trunks in or doing a larger portion of my DBZ sleeves outline. I'm getting closer to being covered and that makes me very happy.
So, my Star Wars sleeve is 95% completed and I'm at a stand still. Either I move forward and get my hands/knuckles done like I really want (Knuckles are fully planned out, hands are still a work in progress but I'm about 99% on those too; which has R2's dome on my left hand) or I get R2 done in a small section of what's left on my arm and then fill in the rest with space and maybe some reference to HK-47.
I'm very torn about getting the overly visible tattoos. On one end, I desperately want them done because I truly feel like they're supposed to be done. (Like the art has always been there, it just hasn't always been visible to everyone else) And on the other end, I don't know where I'm going career wise and I'm scared to do it. I know the consequences and I know that hesitation often means I shouldn't, which is why I haven't just gone ahead. More and more places are accepting it, which gives hope, and also entices me that much more; but, there's still enough places out there that don't allow it.
*Sigh* why can't things like this just be easier, haha.

Getting down to the last bits of open space left on my arm and I'm running out on things I'm able to do. It's been a two year project and now it's nearly complete and I couldn't be any more clueless on what's next. I know I want my knee caps done and what to put there, plus I know the idea for my legs, though I'm not sure I want to start on them next. I want my chest done with an actual chest piece to go along with my text, but I want to slim down even more before venturing on that. It's rough wanting to be covered, haha.
I just realized how long it's been since I last updated this. (And even though my computer is freaking out right now, I'll go ahead and update)
My sleeve is now nearly 90% complete and I couldn't be happier. I just had Plo Koon added and still have another session left before he's finished.
I went to the Columbus Rock yourself to sleep tour show a few weeks back, which allowed me to finally see Woe, Is Me/We Came As Romans/The Word Alive all for the first time. I was blown away by how good Woe was, especially considering how terrible the We Came As Romans singer was live. It was a great night, even though Ohio decided to dump a snow storm on itself that night.
I'm down a little more than 50lbs from last August, which i'm proud of, but still know I have a ways to go before I hit my goal. I've been looking at new running shoes and am not sure what to get, but I think I'll go with these :
I can run on the track and I can start hiking and stuff with them as well, which is nice.
Other than that, I've been with Ikea since November and am still loving it, even though we seem to be purging our department right now. I can't wait for May when I can move into a full time spot and possibly change departments.

Finally getting around to watching "The Walking Dead" premiere. Right after this i'm getting caught up on this season of "The Clone Wars".
Finished off Darker Than Black, hoping that next season is just as good, because this series has become one of my all time favorites.
Might start working for IKEA, which would be really cool. The problem is there's another job opportunity (Micro Center) that will pay a little more (as I'll get more hours there) but the chances of staying on past seasonal is much smaller than at IKEA. I feel like IKEA is the better choice, because I can have visible tattoos and piercings, which allows for and suggests a much more relaxed environment, so it would seem i'd be happier there; but, it will be about 10-15 hours less a week than at Micro Center. What i'm trying to decide is what is more worth it, going for more money right now with a 50:50 chance (or less) of staying on past February, becoming a permanent employee OR going where I feel like I'll be happier, but make less money, with around a 90% chance to stay past February and become permanent.
On a side note, my Jaguars just crushed the Cowboys =]. Good Halloween.

What do you do when you feel like you're In Love with a married woman (or even just someone married)? More than that, what do you do when that particular person is also an ex, one that you've had a shaky but not bad history with, whom you know for a fact still Loves you too? Craaaaazy situation.
So I had to quit my job a few weeks ago or I would have been fired. I really hate politics at work, especially when they're brought on by a hot headed manager, who doesn't use logic to make decisions. So the job hunt is back on and I'm really conflicted. On one hand I could work for an arts and crafts store, which will allow me to have my tattoos and piercings, but I won't make much until I move into a management position, or I pass on that and try to wait it out for something better. I may try for the arts place and continue looking, hoping that something better comes up, I just hope I'm not making the wrong decision.
On a side note (that's still somewhat relevant since it deals with money) I desperately want to get the next two pieces to my sleeve done. I already have the characters picked out and the placement I want them done. I've been debating having them done anyway, knowing that I have enough money for the moment, but it could put me in jeopardy down the road if this unemployment thing goes on too long. I've been holding off because who knows how long this will take for me to find something, but I hate needing to be responsible, haha.
