It's funny how Americans are afraid of socialism and keep criticizing it, but how they turn to government to cover up the capitalists' debts.
Just sayin'.
Just sayin'.
i feel like blogging tonight
that being said, what you're about to read will not necessarly be interresting.
it's been a tiny more than a week that i've been to san diego. it's amazing to be back here, just because it feels like i've never left, except maybe for the fact that the kids grew up during this short year. and their behaviour has changed, they're grown now, they were 5 when i left them, they are turning 7 at the end of october.
it's also great to still be able to wear a dress in september, while everybody is freezing its balls off in france. haha, sorry, i'm mean, but seriously, i know you'd like it to be a little warmer over there..
days go by fast, filled up with nothing but joy, and this is a very good feeling. i'm missing school and my friends, but i know i'll be back there soon, so i rather enjoy what i've got at the very moment.
i'm trying to work on my engllish while i'm here, and my host mom, who is actually now a really good friend, wants me to start writting a book with all the english idioms and their equivalent in french. this is kind of a crazy project, since im no bilingual at ALL, and since my french is not that good, and let's not even start about my english skills. the only reason i'm doing it is that she is really persuasive and keeps coming up with new english expressions and bugs me until i wrote them down in my note book. to tell you the truth, she's doing all the work.. haha!!! and i doubt this will really end up being a book some day, but it's still a fun thing to do!
life in rancho santa fe is so funny though, because i'm surrounded by crazy rich people. this town is full of million dollars houses, porshes, mercedes and so on.. this is california at its finest. BUT since the are all either estates or stocks peoplethey are all freaking out because of the stocks sucking bad lately, and that is quite an amuzing and terrifying show at the same time. without the money they have in stock actions, they have nothing. ah, man, that world is filled with weirdness.
my boyfriend is coming back to me in 2 weeks, and 3 days after he gets back, his mom shows up for a visit, and is going to stay here for a couple of days. i love his mom, but seriously... i havent seen the man in a year, day for day, why would she have to flippin come and visit the first weekend we can spend together? WHY? what's the urge here? i'm going to be over that at some point, but right now, i'm still a little flippin mad about that. maybe i'm just too needy and whiny, but i really do think this is called for.
also, i need to spend more time working out, less time on the internet. how the hell should i do that?
alright, that's pretty much it for now...
night night
