I thought perhaps it was time for a new blog since the last one was two years ago. Granted, I let my membership lapse in that time.

What I liked back then..
- The groups were very active.
- Rigel was so girl next door hot
- Bitten
- The occasional messages from a few folks I met here.

And now..
- Bitten still isn't Pink! Thats a miscarriage of justice.
- The groups aren't as active, or at least the ones I have interests in.
- The girls are still hot!
- I feel like a dirty old man because I'm old enough to be their father.

This is probably my last month here.. No real reason, just going to save some money for awhile.

I enjoyed the discussions in the different groups. I enjoyed reading everyones blogs.

I realized it was time for my bimonthly blog to share with the SG world whats going on..


I got nothing.


Well, I suppose it has been eventful the past few weeks. We lost two Icons on the same day. Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. Sadly, we knew Farrah's was coming. I remember that famous poster of her from my childhood. I think my sister had the Farrah Fawcett barbie doll. And then Michael Jackson was just out of the blue. I did enjoy the Thriller album. I enjoyed the songs he did with Paul McCartney and enjoyed the songs that Wierd Al Yankovic did (which are also doing good on ITunes atm). I remember waiting to watch the Thriller video on MTV when it was a big deal to wait for the videos.

Time to do the bimonthly blog thing again.

So I've been here for a few months. In that time I've..

1. Gotten a tattoo.. I will eventually get a second. Its delay is more my procrastination than anything else.
2. Seen a Burlesque show.. that was fun. Was my first, the audience dressed up, so interested in that.
3. Gone to Scarborough Faire.. granted, I've done that before. Bought me a decent outfit, spent too much.
4. Saw the series finale of Battlestar Galactica and talked about it on here.. I would have seen it whether on here or not, but nice to have folks to talk to about things like that and Lost.
5. Seen a lot of nice sets. WoW!!

Next, I plan to go to Roller Derby this weekend. I think I'm enjoying my mid-life crisis.

Hello..
I'm fairly new here. I think its safe to say that I'm older than most of the folks here. I'm 40.

I'm a restaurant manager living in Dallas, Tx. I really enjoy the groups here. Its pretty cool to talk about the stuff that interest me (Lost, comics, movies, Venture Bros, etc)

Today I got my first tattoo. I started small, just a little superman logo. I'm hoping to expand it further in the future. I like it. Makes me wonder why I waited 20 years to get one.

Eventually I'll have a picture up. I have to resize it and just have to get around to doing that.

Now to sit back and see if people actually read this..
