It has been some time since my last update. Here is what is happening. My new company is doing well so far and I am ecstatic about it. Beyond that, I have launched a new website, http://www.desertgypsylv.com/ , where I will be posting and blogging multiple times a week so keep an eye on that. I have also started designing and making costumes, clothing and accessories for performers, theatrical acts and burlesque. I may also attempt swimwear in time. Once I have some amazing pieces done and ready for sale I will share them with you all.
I have been doing all this while finishing up my B.A. in Philosophy. This is the last week of school and then I should only have one term left after this.
What else have I been doing? I started decorating my home finally. I bought a fabulous new bed, dining set and many new paintings to brighten my walls.
On Monday I went to see the show Pin Up at the Stratosphere here in Vegas and then afterwards I got to hang out with Claire Sinclair. I have been meeting so many amazing performers and entertainers through the Burlesque scene here. I have the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender coming up soon. I won't be doing any performing but I will be there every day working and helping out. I am really looking forward to it.
When I first moved to Vegas I could not deal. My feeling have since transformed into something so much more than I hoped it could be. Vegas is good to me.

Today we took Cooper for a hike in the desert and found a chihuahua that someone had abandoned! Isn't that disgusting? Humans never cease to disappoint me. The poor dog was starved, dehydrated and exhausted. I am so thankful that we found her when we did. She is now safe and recuperating under my supervision.
In other news, my business is taking off already. It is amazing to see my dreams unfold in front of me

I am officially a business owner. Everything is sorted and I now own a LLC. Life is amazing.
On top of finally getting my new company started, I have started performing Burlesque. I am currently putting together a performance. I am so excited. I will not be debuting until after the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender.

I am starting ballet classes soon. I haven't danced since I was 16 but I am so anxious to get back to it. I am also taking burlesque and belly dance classes.I will be doing my first Burlesque show in the next few months. Maybe one day my name will be on a Vegas marquee
Happy New Year! I hope everyone's 2013 is starting out fabulous! So here is a bit of fun news... I am starting to do Burlesque. I have been volunteering for Burlesque Hall of Fame museum here in Las Vegas for a little while now and after attending a few events and meeting many people in the industr y, I have decided to start doing it myself. My jerk puppy has given me a lovely black eye for New Years... 
He jumped up and scratched me the whole way from my eye down to my jaw. For an idea on how much power this pup has, he is 8 months old, 85 pounds and his paws are as big as my hand. I am not a happy momma.
I think he understands that he hurt me though. He seems so sad now and he is just staring at me.
Anyways... I hope you all have a fabulous New Years!

I will be busy until after the holidays so I wanted to wish you all Happy Holidays and Happy New Year now.
I start my new career on Friday and 11am so wish me luck! I took a Stylist job over the other opportunity that I had. This works so much better with my life and what I want from it. I am so very excited!
