“Even though Sean and I often find ourselves ideologically at odds politically, he still gave me a soapbox from which to spout my liberalism, which is more of an opportunity than most people have given me.
He's also given us all a website that kind of feels like home.
“When I first joined SG, I used to try to picture what Sean looked like. I think I pictured someone who looked a little like James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause... You know, cooler than anyone should really be allowed to be.
Then I actually met Sean. He doesn't look like James Dean, but he's pretty damned cool. I hope that someday I can hang out with him again ”
“I made sean a shirt once. It was a horrible transfer on a black t-shirt and I only used white ink because he was called spooky at the time.
He was gracious, kind, and forthright in his apprasial. It was a bit like when you give your third grade teacher a card that you made yourself, despite the fact that it was dripping with elmer's glue and the noodles were mostly cracked. They still took it and you had that feeling that the time you spent on it was really worth it.
Mr Sean is a kind, intelligent individual in a business that is full of people without heads on their shoulders and no concept of maintaining a balance between gross realism and magic sentimentality. I don't know Sean, but I believe he has both.”
“its been a while since your last testimonial. i figured it would be a good time to add my testimonial to you.
Sean doesnt talk too much, but when i have a question for him he answers it. and he is so intelligent that i try to avoid reading his journal too often to avoid migraines.”
“i really don't know how sean is able to stay sane and stick around a business that's filled with crazy pms'ing ladies. albeit HOT ladies, but you know.
i really hope i get to meet the seanmonster, i admire all the hard work he puts forth into the site and he just rocks all around. and i hope he doesn't mind that i call him seanmonster because i think it's cute.”
“Sean rocks, he puts up with more shit than a bathroom in Disneyland.
This is a thankless job for him most of the time and he seems to always end up having to play bad cop.
I used to think I didn't like him, but that was before I seperated myself from the drama of the month I was upset over and saw things his way.
I've only talked to him a handful of times on AIM, but he's always answered my questions and even showed me a preview of the groups feature to get my opinion a long ass time before it came about.
I wish more owners of businesses would strive to make things a better place like he does.
I definatly like to eat at Dave's, I have done so for over two years for very good reason and plan not to stop anytime soon.”
“I've never met Sean in person, have tried to stay on his good side on the site, and only talked to him on AIM once. What does this mean? Two things- one, I am an impeccable judge of character. Two, he's provided a place where a gomer like myself actually made a hell of a lot of friends, and for that, he rocks.”
“sean is the only guy cool enough to do the job that he does. he really is an awesome guy, and i am saying this of my own volition. i am so glad he is in LA, even though i have failed to take full advantage of his current locale. yay for hip old grandpas.”
“Sean is bossy I gave him 3 grey hairs. I think that is why grey is one of our sg colors it reprosents what we do for one another around here w00t w00t. Rock on in the free world Sean!!
xoxoxoxox Rose”
“Charlie- I mean Sean, gives us missions which we accomplish while tossing our hair and making mean faces, he sends his girls all over the world to do battle with the bad-guys and we always return victorious.
As mysterious to some of us as his methods of contact- which usually revolve around phone calls, e-mails and sexy messengers- he's the mastermind general of the SG army.
Go get 'em girls.”
“Sean is really cool...I remember when I used to write journal entries from his house at the first SGHQ.... it was wild orgies all the time..... god, I miss the old days.....
love ya babe........”
