To paraphrase the L.A. times: The baby boomers have stolen the future from their children and grandchildren as they head off to retirement leaving us only with the bill for their retirement accounts.

If you are a LOST fan, you probably have noticed that every character on the show's father is a fairly worthless or terrible human being. I asked my friend why she thought that was and she said, "IT'S JUST LIKE REAL LIFE!!!"

It would be easier to live life if you knew how and when it ended.

I'm rooting for the SAAKASHVILI but you have to give PUTIN and his forces respect, they are fighting a very smart and very effective campaign. PUTIN doesn't fuck around, he's used the conflict to show just how powerful and unafraid of world opinion he is. I'm guessing the Poles and Czechs aren't going to be getting their missile defense after all, and most likely this will halt the eastward expansion of NATO. I hope the Russians haven't been training the Iranians, because they seem to have routed the Georgian troops easily, Geogrians trained and armed by Americans, French and Israelis.

The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.
