New post time!

So I didn't get the hospital job, as they wanted someone with more hospital experience. GD Catch 22s...

I worked at the warehouse for two months now, and it's just not for me. Luckily, a friend from my previous pharmacy job was able to give a reference for a full-time one at a pharmacy on West Broadway. Seems like it'll be awesome and I start on Monday. Yay me!

Huh, more than a year since my last post... *shrug* Not much to talk about really.

Still playing WoW, albeit on like 4 different servers due to friends being jerks and wanting me to come elsewhere to play with them

As of last summer I've also been playing Changeling: The Lost on the White Wolf official chats pretty regularly. I love the original World of Darkness, but I gotta say I'm liking the new one even more, especially Changeling.

Hopefully in the next month or two, my pay per month will also increase drastically at one of two possibilies. The first is getting hired at VGH hospital for the job I'm already doing. The second is moving from the pharmacy at Superstore to the warehouse in the basement for way more pay. I'll update next if and when things change.

Guess it's time for a new post...

Not much in the way of news I think any of you'd want to hear (same old, same old), but I will be doing an easy 7 day stint in the medical testing place next week again. Will post again while inside or after I get out on the 23rd.

The fun of a part time job? "Yeah, I'm gonna be out of town from the 16th til 17th, so don't schedule me then. Thanks!"

Holy crap, new post time!

So yeah... A Rob Zombie live show is the motherfucking shit. Anthraxx opened the show and was mildy entertaining as what seemed a post hair metal band (admittedly, I haven't heard anything of theirs before today besides what was on the Beavis and Butthead CD from way back). After the intermission though, Rob and his newest band came out and rocked out with his good new stuff, great old stuff and even some stuff we were totally not expecting... like sing-along covers of Sweet Dreams from Eurythmics and Enter Sandman from Metallica. I'd say more, but it's greatness was almost beyond description (or my abilities thereof, anyway).

In WoW news, all my Alliance are now on Dark Iron (2 60s, 2 40+). No idea where to throw my one Hordie though. Guess I'll wait til the expansion and see what server we choose for ganking "AC" (god, I hate that abbreviation) with Blood Elves.

So yeah, I'm not dead... Just really boring and lazy.

The SGBC Christmas Party was great this year, though with so many people, I found little point in trying to interact with all those I didn't know. I'm at my most sociable in smaller settings and this was hella bigger than last year.

No news happening in my RL, so let's switch to geek/WoW news. I just got my Dark Iron Pally, Flintara, to 26 and right after that solo-ninja'd the smithing hammer for Verigan's Fist from Shadowfang Keep. Stupid elite Worgen taking like a minute to kill each... Stupid class with lack of ranged weaponry and major DPS... But then again, nice class with uber survival skills. I'd never have been able to get that hammer with IH at the same level. Oh, and Nerf Shamans!



PS: check out Firefly and Serenity on DVD if you haven't already. You shan't regret buying them, though I'd be willing to lend my copies out if ya'll are wary.

Been more than a month so here's my next post. The new Gorilla habitat is great, and it was nice seeing people once again for the first/second time in months.
T'was especially nice being the opposite of drunk (due to insane amounts of sugar and caffiene) when I got home cause I was able to get my Dark Iron Pally from 10 to 13 in about 3 hours (3 cheers for weeks worth of Rest xp!).
The Goblet of Fire was good, if necessarily cut down to just the bare essentials.

Hmmm... Halloween's a'coming, my most favorite day of the year... Even though it lost a lot of its spooky magic sometime in my teens, I still prefer it over everything else. My costume this year will be a Project Illiad scientist who's a little too interested in his work for his own good... 50 bonus geek points if you're knowledgable enough about the old World of Darkness to get the reference.

Anyway, not much else happening *curses his boring dreary existence* Pondering getting City of Villains and restarting my addiction to City of Heroes as well... WoW is fun, but I'm not missing it quite so much anymore when I have to be away from my computer for days at a time.

Looking forward to seeing you all again at the Christmas party. I've just been too busy in the last few months to go to any SGBC stuff and that makes me a sad panda...

So I've finally got some free time... What's new with me?
Not much, as per usual...

Zombiewalk 2005 was great... Me and 5 fellow undead made our way from Surrey into Vancouver to a meeting place at 15th and Sophia, right in front of a church. There were about 20 zombies already there, so we exchanged greetings and joined in with their milling around menacingly and pawing at the cars that stopped in the intersection. This lasted for about half an hour until the main contingent came in from downtown Vancouver. We then all lurched/filed down Main Street about 15 blocks to a graveyard where we hung out with our fellow living impaired.

Other than that event, I've just been working, gaming, and slowly getting rid of the surplus cash from this summer's drug trial.... Things I've wasted it on include a couple of World of Darkness and Werewolf: the Forsaken books, new Necron minis, seasons 2 and 3 of Buffy, the first two DVDs of Invader Zim ... oh, and a DVD collection of the top ten rated episodes of He-Man (Mmmmm... childhood nostalgia *drools*)

In WoW news, two of my alts got their mounts last week... No more running around on my own legs like a chump!
