Got to go out, walk around, and take pictures. Not a bad day

Well that was a pretty good day for it being Friday the 13th. Let's hope the weekend is even better though

Looks like I'm driving to Philly to get my cheese steak fix and see what else south street has to offer.

So I have been trying to teach myself the ins and outs of photography. I'm trying to get past the point of "wow, there is so much stuff I have no clue what to do" to "I enjoy just taking pictures". Don't get me wrong, I like just taking photographs for fun, but it is more rewarding when you look at the pictures you took and think, "damn, that's a nice shot."

If your a photographer and have any tips for a novice, I'm open to learning. I'm still getting used to using my new dslr.
