"ScottSmallin is one of the best photographers I've known personally and one of the best professionally. Though he has his preferences he's more than once tried something different just to keep from becoming pigeon-holed into a particular style. He does bands, he does models, he's making the lucrative move into shooting SGs, he's even been forced to do wedding photography... always able to inject enough of his style into the shots to make them not your average, run of the mill, blah blah.

Anyone looking for a photographer , particularly for an SG set, consider this guy for he's not greasy nor grimey, and has great ideas that would be scrapped if yours are better.

We've had differences in the past but he is a fierce friend when the cards are down... how many times did I owe my own advancement to his kindness (and ability to manipulate hireups). Hell, my most recent occupation I achieved by his wiley use of words as a reference. I've known him since high school, have seen his many "periods" ranging from skater punk to loving father. And while he's not the world's best musician, he will definitely entertain you with the show. To know Scott is to know a friend.


And he used to be one hell of a shoesalesman! An ol' 6800 Bud!!"
