When we are young It matters not the color of our skin nor the type of music that is playing. All that matters is a beat and rythm. When we are young the social stereotypes haven;t quite been inflicted upon us yet. Too bad most of us can;t grow old, gain knowledge yet still keep this youthful approach to music, life and happiness.

I feel drained by the monotiny of my job with the newspaper. Getting fucked over and used while sales managers cash in with my photography as their selling tool. Lame!!! So, Here I am about to walk away from a 40k job into the unknown in the next couple of months if my demands aren;t met. Working on my new website full force now. Hopefully I will be fulltime freelance by the end of the summer. I am hoping some of my 8 sets that still lay dormant in member review go live soon so i can bank that money and use it for a rainy day. And hopefully that rainy day will be here soon. I really would love to take a month and travel. I want to travel the U.S. again. See the Grand Canyon and Redwoods again. i want to see stars in the sky with no bleed from city life. I want to hear the nighttime with no bleed from man made noise. I want to feel free and capture my thoughts. I wanna See some Friends outwest. I am itching, longing and desperate to get away for a bit. I want to go overseas sometime this year. . . . . .

HAving a good time in FL even though I have been sick as fuck. I Photographed Fatality sunday but it will be a few months before we submit that set. SHe has a really AWesome SEt by STEVE Prue that will be in MR soon. So, after that hits front page we will ATTack you with the set we shot this weekend which we are both super proud of. Then Monday I went to the doctor and got some Antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection i have aquired. Tuesday I photographed Harper's new set and i finally had the Pleasure of meeting and working with Kaelyn!!! I'd like to give a special thanks to Midnyte for letting us use her lovely home to shoot in. I was shooting in the rain. Literally in the rain. I had trash bags and umbrellas over my lights and a trash bag wrapped around my camera and Kaelyn and I both ended up soaking wet. All while I was already sick.And let me tell you Harper's new set is gonna kick some ASS!! Wooo weee

Then I will be at the Atlanta Tattoo Convention the 14th and 15th!!! Whew.. Busy week. I will have an awesome Hair and make-up artist with me. So, let's make this a Productive trip for all parties involved.

I am the one traveling so, if you have ideas for locations to shoot at that will help tremendously. If you know of any clubs, locations or bars or anything like that please let me know. I got my new list from Alternative Press yesterday and WOW. What an Amazing Issue the next one is gonna be. It is the 23 year anniversary issue and they are featuring bands such as Christie Front DRive, Youth of Today and Grade just to name a few. Some bands I have have loved forever and it brought back great memories just reading their names. I have to go dig through some OLD film stuff to see if I can squeeze in a few GRade photos and hopefully see them in print.
I remember being so goddamn mad when Grade had a video on MTV. ahah. I was like "fucking Sellouts" but at the end of the day, I still love Grade and I love this song. Reminds me of being on tour and hanging out and seeing the whole country more times than is fair to those who haven;t even done it once.


Friends made, friends lost, sunsets, sunrises, flat tires, blown gaskets, busted tubes, kisses on the side of a house way back in 97, couches stained with german shepard piss, 3 a.m. dance parties with crust kids, crater lake, windmills in cornfields, eggplant fries, frisbees, handwritten letters instead of emails, care packages for a safe journey, birthday cakes, vegan treats, blackened eyes, cold spaghettios, 110 degrees, "no sweet tea", mansions with leopard sheets, cookouts, buyouts, catering, no sleep, dirty, stinky, 11 p.m and the sun was still out, Candian rockies, sayin "fuck the stage, we're setting up on the floor", pissing off sound guys, selling merch, load in, load out, Graceland, Portraits in Cotton fields, pissing on the side of the road and missing home all at the same time just to name a few!


This song also reminds me a lot of one of my Ex's as well. She sent me a text a while back that said "every time i listen to Grade it reminds me of when i used to drive down to the beach to visit you with the windows rolled down." We have finally gotten to a point that we can be really awesome friends and she just got out of a kind of bad relationship and I think she may be going route with a guy that she has been friends with forever and that makes me super happy for her. He is a fucking rad dude!


Me and my other ex, I think, are working towards a healthy friendship as well and that makes me extremely happy to say the least. We took several amazing roadtrips, slept in the Element, got freaky as Elvis shook his head, toured with Daughters, had our own private dance parties, ate toooooo many quessadillas, planted a garden which failed miserablly haha, made more sandwiches than you can imagine <i think i owe her about 500 thousand more> not sure. ahah. But yeah. Seems like i have made a lot of Reconciliation lately and That IS An AMazing Feeling.

I have a feeling I am gonna wear this one out! And you would think that with $30,000 worth of Photo equipment laying around i coulda took at least a halfway descent pic of it. haha Thanks
