So I am back from Amsterdam, Norway, and Germany. It was a lot of fun. I am glad to be back in the real world. My house renovations suffered from a lack of supervision. I do have cathedral ceilings now!!!! Here are some pictures from the trip.

Just decided to do a little update. I am making progress on the house renovations. I have been dealing with asbestos and a bunch of lead paint. All of the wall paper has been removed. Since the house is over 200 years old there was bound to be a lot of wall paper. Now all the plaster is being fixed. The massive kitchen renovation is starting soon which I am excited about. I am looking forward to moving to Derry. Here is an example of the wall paper


There was a nice surprise. I found a chimney for a wood burning stove. It is crazy to think this is what heated 3000 square feet in 1795


I also found a sweet vanity and sink set for the master bath I am redoing. It is part of my never ending quest to find odd furniture.




I have been on the motorcycle every day and I am racking up miles. 2000 kilometers in a month!!!! That is about 1250 miles. I recently added the ammo cans and rear tire rack. I love my motorcycle!!!

So....I have not written on here in a long time. It has been a bit crazy. Lets see this week alone my brother is getting married Friday and my dad is having surgery for his prostate cancer. So that is just wonderful. Nothing like driving to Baltimore and NYC in the middle of an epic snow storm. On a plus side Grace and I are trying to buy a house. It is a bitch of a process. It does amaze me how my concept of money is so perverted from living in NYC. 200 grand in NH can get you a kick ass house where in NYC 200 grand gets you a box on someone's stoop. We seem to be getting judged because we are cash buyers. They think we are drug dealers. I guess things are moving along just seems to fucking crazy.

Well, I have been cleaning my place for the past 6 hours now. It needed it very very badly. The freaking garbage disposal went out which is oh so wonderful. My dad is coming to visit Not too pumped about it. He is having is like 32 mid life crisis. The mid life crisis was brought on by a divorce. He has decided to basically sell everything he owns. I am not sure the thought process going on.

That is anybody who feels like picking something up. We will see how this weekend unfolds. I generally expect the worse from him. He is seeing his grandson for like the third time ever. So at least there is that. I hope everyone has a splendid weekend.

Well, I am new to this blogging thing. I don't see why anyone would really give a shit, but hey whatever floats your boat. I still hate New Hampshire. I have been missing Baltimore and Sag Harbor. There is nothing in this state. We are planning to move to Boston area this summer. I am waiting to see if my transfer application has been accepted at Harvard. Urgg school sucks!!!

I have been struggling to find things to do with my time. I am thinking of doing a motorcycle trip from New Hampshire to Alaska. I have a friend who has done it several times. I think it would be amazing. One of the down sides to having a kid is that I can't just do something because I want to anymore. This whole adult thing seems unreal.

On a final note.... I find it strange that I had defend my argument that Roman Polanski should be sentenced for his crime. There is no doubt the man is a genius and that he has had a rough life, but he did get a 13 year old drunk and then raped her. Maybe I am just too anti pedophile for people...
