I am indeed still alive

as usual its been forever, I hope everyone is doing well. I am doing great. I have very little time to myself but I'm working full time going to school 3 nights a week, playing soccer one night a week and in may I start bowling on my other free night. plus I have an amazing girlfriend now. I guess it does work that way, If your not looking for long enough you'll end up finding someone, haha long enough in my case was 2 years. take care, and thanks for reading

Good lord its been awhile, I'm alive and super busy since school has started. I pretty much only have weekends off now and I'm usually sleeping doing homework or playing WoW <~~~~~ yeah some friends convinced me to play so I guess I fit into that world now , if you play and want to be friends let me know.

WE WON 9-4
Tonight was the first official match of the "Lone Rangers" <------ taken from the movie Airheads. We were on the pitch warming up with 4 men because people were late and two of our rangers called up and canceled. We ended up playing a man down until our 7th showed up. I can say this, I'm still learning but I'm quick off the jump and stole 4 passes tonight I even went toe to toe with a few people and jammed them up enough to force a missed pass.
I'm currently playing holding midfielder, so basically I travel back and forth giving the defense and offense a hand but I don't run to hard unless I have too, which I did a few times. I also took one shot but it went high and right so I didnt score at all. I did eat dirt ( well rubber dirt anyway) once but it was more of a I was going to fast to stop and fell forward on my face, than he bumped me and I fell. We have a pretty sweet team and the girls are just as deadly as the guys. So thats it for now, My lower body is so sore and tired I'm off to relax on the bed

Tomorrow is a big day for me, I start soccer with my buddy and my new team. I say team and not club because its more so a rec league than a club. I haven't played competitive soccer since well since I was like 12 so 16 years later is a huge difference. I have just played kick around with some friends and maybe a small pick up for like 30 minutes but we're talking every week for 45 minutes or more ( they're not full 90's) which means I am going to have a lot of fun and my knees are probably going to be killing me. I'm excited about it though , I'm also pretty freaked out about it, I was always good at sports but always worried I was going to hurt people so I held back, now I'm not as worried about about hurting people because I would feel bad which sort of scares me because lets be honest, I'm built for American football, not futbol or soccer or football, the people I'm going to be up against are going to be shorter faster and probably up to 80 pounds lighter.

Its going to be different so I'll send you guys an update on it or something.

Big Bang Theory season 3 on DVD

Spartacus season 1 On DVD <------- by the way every episode includes at least three topless women and more than likely Dong for the ladies, besides the point its a great show sometimes the action is a bit cheesy but thumbs up all around.

Clive Barker's The great and Secret Show. Its a graphic Novel but its really well written and the art is quite amazing.

Halo Reach solo campaign was great, I loved the story and had a blast playing it, multiplayer however, I'm not a fan of, I think its because I'm so used to playing Modern Warfare 2, but I just suck something fierce at it

Devil was a awesome, I was expecting M Night shamalamadingdong to piss me off with another stupid ending but I liked the movie a lot.

The Town was good but it seemed to have some holes in the story line and Boston accents get annoying after so long still great movie.


Things that suck

After and entire year of being healthy and not sick, I get infested with some sort of slow acting cold. I deactivated my taste buds and make me cough constantly.

The Chicago Fire are going to miss the playoffs for only the second time in 13 years this pissed me off a lot because the club seems to be in disarray constantly, they need to fire the coach and try again.

The Cleveland Browns seem to keep letting me down I go to the bar and sit there watching them play every sunday hoping they can pull out a win but they just screw it up

in other news, I went to a fire match today with a guy from Spain. His name was Ferdinand I think but all my friends that new him kept calling him Frond so I just went with it. He had me laughing so hard I couldn't breath. It was like hanging out with Russel Brand, I'm not joking, he looked like him acted like him, and everything, the only difference was he spoke with a different accent. He didn't enjoy American soccer much but he had fun all the same. It was interesting to hear a different view of the sport, not just an outsider but someone from the originating area's to talk to about it. Good news on the front of place hunting. me and my buddies found a great contact through the one kids mom and we're looking at 3 different places to move into.

I still can't get over that song up there seriously if you want a copy of there first album I'll send you one, its that good, and if " Does it offend you, yes" wants money for that copy I'll send it to them, because its a great cd and everyone needs to hear it. infact I think they are on tour in the states right now

also you guys should go check out July's new set, that girl is so amazing, its a shame she lives in New York because I would be looking her up if she was in Chicago, shes too cute.

I went and seen "The Last Exorcism" today. Its ok I think it was a good story but like most movies now' a days it seemed very rushed.

I don't really have a ton more to say. I missed out on signing up for the fall semester of school which sucks and I'm getting ready to move soon. I really hope things go well with my two new room mates. We are all really good friends but the one kid is starting to get on my nerves a lot. He's a mooch, plain and simple. I'm to easy going to point things out but lately I have been getting worse. I have started pointing things out and he keeps getting pissed. I said something about my soccer ball that hes had for a solid 5 months or so and he was like well I give it a better home, I was like so fucking what you didn't pay for it , I DID. He was mad and said well I don't have 25$ to go spend on a ball I don't need and I was pissed, he's had my GPS in his car since January and I finally said something about that and got basically the same reaction. we have gotten more and more heated about the issue and we ( me and my best friend since kindergarden ) have been worried about the move because this kid is very pushy about it. Hes got this girl friend that's not actually his girlfriend because she is stuck in a lease with a guy she is not in love with anymore, that he wants to move in with us when we get our place. at first I was like whatever I don't care shes cool, but then my parents said , well is she going to help with rent? I thought yeah she'll probably split his rent with him. Then they said no you guys should be splitting it 4 ways if she's going to live there, then everybody's rent goes down and you can save more for your own house. It makes sense to both me and the other guy we just haven't said anything about it to the third guy.
So the moving thing might be a pain. I'll be living off of Weber and Root which is about 25 minutes from where I am at now and will have me getting up earlier and getting home later but what can I do. If I stayed at home with my parents I would be able to save roughly 1,200$ a month if I wanted to. but moving out with these guys will leave me saving maybe 700$ thats giving me about 100 bucks a month to play with. plus I'll be shelling out cash for school.

This whole thing is rather confusing, I want to move out considering I'm 28 and live with my parents but mostly because I feel like a failure for still living with them, and because I said I would to my friends, on the other hand staying at home leaves me saving a lot of money, enough money where I could work part time and do more school to get it done quicker. What do I do???? I'm not really worried about getting a girlfriend because its not something I need and I know ladies frown on a 28 year old living with his parents but I made mistakes and I can accept that. That is the only thing I would feel like would be a freedom because if I did meet a girl I liked I could have sex with out my parents hearing, granted now my two buddies and their ladies will hear it so thats even pointless.

So I'm sitting in the break room at work ( I intentionally take my breaks later than the other crews so I can read or sleep for 15 minutes and not be interrupted) and for some reason the guy see me reading and thinks that guy wants to have a conversation. ????? I can't say I speak for everyone but usually when someone is reading a book I would assume they probably don't want to be interrupted. So he sits down and I'm like man come on I just got in here, I only get 15 minutes please just keep walking by. Nope he decided he wanted to discuss , yo yo ma, with me.

By the way the book I'm currently reading is called Desert Places by Blake Crouch. It pretty terrifying if you need a good book to read.
