Happy Fall!

This is pretty much how I spent my summer (in a bikini with Aspen and sometimes other girls in bikinis):

I'm looking forward to a lot of things, and have been researching finding Loophole Utopia. Any leads let me know....

This is what I do to relax:

These photos were taken by Old Hardcore Dude at my band's last show at the Knitting Factory (06.23.08).

Viva Banditas! Mi corazon es para tu.

Thank you so much DrewYoon for taking photos at my art show!

And extra special thank you Manda, Moxi, Starla, and Cedar for being the sexiest Banditas on the planet!

The Get Her! photo show at 5050 Grind was a success... thank you so much to everyone that attended! Now it's back to humping movie cameras in 110 degree desert weather. I desperately want to spend some quality time with my new rooftop pool.

I know it's been months since an update. This means I've been a busy Sawa. But hey... I have an art show next week and everybody should come out! I will have sexy photos up, some of my stencil work, live DJ, live installation Get Her! girls, taco truck, and free drinks. Here are the flyers:

And I will leave you with a few photos from Maryland Death Fest a few weeks ago. They are not pics of the bands (which were amazing by the way), just some classic gems mostly from the hotel room, the Warlord table at MDF, and the local bar "Fish Heads" in Baltimore, Maryland:

And other than that, I have just been working a shitload of days on set, trying to do more art, and at the moment I'm in the middle of moving to a different loft. I will now have a deluxe rooftop pool so that is where I want to spend my summer. Also my band(Watch Me Burn) has been working on lots of new material so that is always fun too. We have a pretty awesome show coming up:

I think that about sums it up. My main goal lately is to simplify my life. I have had a sit down with myself and asked myself honestly what makes me the happiest. And now that is all I need to know.

I sorted of wanted to do a whole 2007 recap journal, followed by a 2008 outlook- but meh that would take too much time, I don't want to live in the past, and I'd rather be DOING things in 2008 than typing about them. So, here is the lazy version in PHOTO form...

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

A few highlights from 2007:
Pool party:

Get Her! Photo Studio launch:

Murderfest!:

WATCH ME BURN record release!

More WMB goodness:

and just before the end of the year... Christmas:

There was so much more in 2007. It was a pretty full year. But much of it was laying some foundation for things to come our way in 2008, so hopefully I will have lots of exciting stuff to share soon. Things I want in 2008:

-A doggie
-A stripper pole in my loft
-To speak Spanish

The rest is a secret. (for now)
Have a great year everyone!
I know I will.

I miss this little guy so much I can hardly stand it:

I want my baby back.

Other than that, Happy Holidays.

Important WATCH ME BURN show this Saturday, November 10th with BAD ACID TRIP.

It's at a strip club! How can you beat that?

In other news, October was a complete roller coaster for me. My whole world has changed, but I hope it's all for the better. Lots of good things are coming.
OCTOBER 2, 2007 @ 12:33 PM | 75 COMMENTS

1. First of all, Happy October. This is my favorite time of the year. The sun hangs in a different place, the breeze changes, everything feels different and I love it. I love Fall.

2. The Get Her! opening party was a ton of fun. It was the first chance I've had to open the doors of my photo studio to family and friends and it was a good time. We had some art on the walls in the loft, projections on the roof, and a photobooth! Here are some funny pics from the photobooth:

And here is a little movie sequence of the entire night's pics of the photobooth:

3. Going a little further back in time... (it's been awhile since I updated), the WATCH ME BURN record release show was a ton of fun too! Here are some pics I stole from Rigel:

That was a good night! And I must say all of my lady friends were looking especially beautiful!

4. I've recently been watching some BBC documentaries on the Life of Birds. Amazing! I've decided that if all this big city stuff ever gets to be too much for me, I'm taking off to film documentary footage of birds. And I'm serious. I could make a life out of that.

5. For now, I've rejoined the travelling circus. Meaning: I've gone back to working camera more on movie/commercial sets again. Living the life of an "artist" is a wonderful thought, but when it comes down to it I got to pay the bills. Plus I missed the large scale of things, the sexy camera rigs, and living in a world where someone can say "make it snow" and it will indeed snow. Even in Los Angeles. In the middle of a closed down freeway. That doesn't happen everyday.

6. But because of that stupid hectic schedule, (the reason I "retired" in the first place), I've been missing my wonderful pole dancing lessons with LizaRose. I love it so much. I wanna get back on the pole ASAP.

7. Me and Skatepunk have been utilizing my studio as a full blown factory! I love it. Stencil making, spraypainting, t-shirt printing, photo taking, movie making mofo factory! This space is my most favorite thing in life right now- especially when my puppy Charlie is there to help. Thank you to all the special ladies that have stopped by!

8. Oh! You can hear some of my band in Roach's Miss Horrorfest video!

That's me screaming. Go to You Tube's Miss Horrorfest competition and give her 5 stars! (If it's not too late).

9. You can still buy the new Watch Me Burn record HERE. It might be in the SG shop soon... standby for that one.

10. For a limited time I will be selling a print of this self-portrait:
