Firstly I'd like to thank everyone for the masses of love that has been left on Hang Tough, and I'd like to thank Miro again for shooting it for me. As a lot of you know, prior to that set I hadn't shot much, but you can look forward to seeing my face a lot more, as this year is the year of photoshoots for me!
I know that I have messages stacked, I'm way behind on answering them, but I will get around to it, I'm sorry I've been slacking.
This week has been a massive gaming week for me. It started when I was reminded of some games that I wanted to replay. The one I really wanted to replay was a game called Heart of Darkness, unfortunately I couldn't get the thing running on Windows 7 (very disappointing) so I couldn't go back to that one, I did, however, go back and play this very briefly, and will continue to do so for reasons I will shortly state:
A friend has gifted me with an Xbox. Something I've been trying to get a hold of for a while now. He was nice enough to also supply me with these games, some of which I could have played on PC, but it's nice not to have to deal with the load times.

So with regards to Alice, I will return to playing it, but on the Xbox I reckon. The jump/float ability on the PC is a little tough to master. Perhaps the pad will make it easier. So I have a lot of games to play which is nice, especially with all that's going on.
With the exception of Game of Thrones, I'm actually falling behind on my usual TV shows. That's a little disappointing is it not? Gotta say though, if I hear Ygritte say "You know nothing, Jon Snow" one more time I may throw something.

SO I'm sure as I'm writing this my set will go into Member Review, so I very much hope anyone reading this has enjoyed it or will enjoy it. Miro and I had a great time shooting it, she's really easy to work with and a lovely lady.
I was wandering around town recently marvelling at the height of society that is my home town, looking for work. I live in the sort of town where work is particularly scarce right now due to overpopulation. Most people in my town take the forty five minute commute to London. You'd think with everyone commuting there'd actually be more jobs here, but no. So I applied to a couple of jobs this week, and I was left thinking "what in the holy fuck is wrong with people" due to a serious problem I have noticed.
After a few months of application form after application form they all kind of blend together. But! The one thing I'm noticing that should not be blending together is that all of these jobs require "excellent written communication skills" and every, single, one, of them has spelling or grammar errors in the job advertisement, application form, or job specification. And I'm not applying for the job to replace the person creating those documents. I think it's an insult to me to require that and not be able to deliver it themselves, and of course, when I demonstrate the fact that I am actually in possession of "excellent written communication skills" I don't even get a "sorry, you were "insuccesful" getting the job." (yes, that's an actual spelling error I received.) I mean seriously. 99% of the time I get no reply whatsoever and the other 1% of the time I receive an email that looks like it was typed by monkeys?
The other thing I've started to notice is that whereas it is normal to ask for two references (almost always your last two employers), people are now asking for three or more. And if you've been out of work for a while, they don't want to hear anything from your last employers, but demand you find references somewhere else. How ridiculous is that? For a start when did it become normal to ask for a "backup reference" let alone two, or three, or in one case where I filled in an application, I was required to give four extra references. WHAT EVEN IS THAT!?
And CVs (resumes)... what is the point in those any more? This entire while that I've been looking for work there has been not one prospective employer who has asked to see mine. And yet the job centre requires me to create and supply them with a CV. I like having one, and it says everything that needs to be said, so I think the problem here is why am I spending 3+ hours on one application form when in fact I could just forward over my CV, which says exactly the same thing on it anyway?
Ok, I'm done with that particular angry session. Fun though wasn't it?

My weekly picture dump. The week has been pretty good. I got a tattoo and while I was there I was quoted only £140 to fix and finish my sleeve so I'm really happy with that! Can't get it done right now but soon my left arm will be all done!

Summer appears to have started in England. For the last few days I've woken up cold only to step outside and feel warmth spread through me like a cloud of happiness. I thrive on summer, and live for days like yesterday. I fell asleep in the sun listening to the countless crows screeching in the trees opposite my house. When I awoke the freckles on my nose and shoulders had deepened, making me look more like the summer version of myself, and creating a happiness within me unmarred by the outside influences of what is going on in my life at the moment.
Despite all my good intentions, it seems that my destiny is to grapple with situations that leave me feeling that people are appalling, repellent creatures. Creatures who create situations to suit their own needs, who lie to watch others fall.
A few days ago I laid my head down for a quick cat nap in the afternoon. Upon waking I felt an intense and sickening pain in my lower right gut. The pain got worse and worse until I was crying. (I have not cried from physical pain in years.) I called the doctor, thinking perhaps it was my appendix. The doctor had no answers for me; I had no fever. By morning it had ceased.
So the other day as I was strolling through the wonderful town centre that is Bedford, I was a little shocked to be addressed by a young man attempting to get people to play paint-ball. I'm used to cold sellers, I even was one for a very short period, and usually I just keep my head down and keep walking. However, with this guy, I ended up walking past him staring at him with my mouth hanging open. All because of what he said to me.
"You look like a bit of fun."
Wow. I look like a... wow. Someone really needs to teach that boy techniques on cold selling, because that just seemed like he was either trying to hit on me, or didn't really know what he was saying. I was totally torn between being angry and amused, and I'm fairly certain my face twisted into some kind of grimace. So I thought back on the times people have said strange things to me, and wondered if others have been accosted in similar ways. Call it "possibly accidental but also possibly not awkward things to say to strangers". As there was another time in my life where I was walking and someone leaned out of his car and screamed,
"It's just another manic Monday!"
Some others I've had from strangers (especially pertaining to being British) recently:
"You're British? You're lying, your teeth are too good."
"Did you fall into a bucket of bleach?"
"Why are you drinking coffee? British people don't like coffee."
Guy in bar hands me a rose. "I couldn't help but buy this for the prettiest lady here." He then blushes and runs, literally, runs, away.
"You're laid back, rude, and sometimes slightly ditzy. How are you British?"
"Can I draw a cat face on you?"
Stranger doing the dance as we bump into each other in the street, fails to actually bump me; "Well that's disappointing."
When I was a teenager:
"Holy crap that's scary!"
"Are you Wednesday Adams?"
"Are you trying to sell me something? GOD I hope so."
And of course, the ever popular
"Are those tattoos real?" NO I DRAW THEM ON EVERY DAY!
I'm currently watching Rob Dyke live with Matthew Santoro. Very amusing. While we're on that topic this happened the other day.

The last week has been a turntable of awesome and fun events.
As you may remember, last week I posted a video from the wonderful Rob Dyke. I will be posting another today but a funny thing happened. I commented on the video I posted on this blog, saying that I had posted it, on this blog (sorry for being confusing I only have so many words today... slow day...) and he actually replied, and was actually happy about it. So it would seem that Rob Dyke either was in a nice mood or knows the site, as the correspondence was totally not something I was expecting.
So anyway, I decided, since he amuses the living shit out of me, that I would buy one of his t shirts, set me back a bit and I'm still waiting on the delivery although I will be taking a picture once I get it! I got this one. The guy himself reminds me of someone, though I can't for the life of me think who, in the way that he looks, but also he and I share extremely similar opinions on a lot of things, including humour. It's refreshing to find someone willing to throw his opinions out there and have myself agree.
I've had a great week of injuring myself. A lot of you don't know this about me but I'm horrendously clumsy. I walk into door frames, stub my toes, hit my head on things, I'm a nightmare to photograph because usually I'm absolutely covered in bruises. I've broken nine of my ten fingers, and all ten of my toes, and a rib, but nothing bigger than that, yet. So I thought I would share with you some beautiful pictures of a few of my injuries, since I literally just trapped my finger in a box. How? I have no fucking clue.
This is me having just trapped my finger in a box, so, just now. The box is a large wooden crate with a sliding top. Very stylish. It was on its side and I picked it up to flip it over, the top slid and my pinkie got caught in it, and in order to not make it way way worse I had to put the box down, very very slowly, with my finger still caught in it.
I walk around with a combination of those things most of the time. It amuses the hell out of everyone, except me. In fact I took a break from writing just now to close the blind in my bedroom and it fell on my head. It's very possible I'm a walking danger zone. Stay away!
So after last week I've been listening to the Paramore album. I'm fairly addicted to it. I learnt this one on bass yesterday, since I'm back into playing now, it was actually quite difficult because I haven't played in around five years:

Okay now call me sad or pathetic or whatever, but as you will know, I love love love love Harry Potter, I even have a tattoo. Recently I've been diving back into my past to reply the games from Philosopher's Stone onward (yes, in England it was called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I don't know why it was renamed Sorcerer's Stone for the USA). I've enjoyed myself, but, as usual, I'm stuck playing Half Blood Prince over and over and over and over because it is way too much fun.
Tell me that doesn't look fun! Okay actually don't, I don't want to hear it.
Finally catching up with The Big Bang Theory. Must say Sheldon's one liners leave me in stitches constantly. Of course I'm also on top of Game of Thrones, Once Upon a Time, and more recently, Hannibal, which I am loving, by the way. If you haven't watched it then you need to start. It stars Hugh Dancy and Mad Mikkelsen, both seem perfect in their roles.

I've taken a few walks with the dog, which has been nice, I also spent the weekend at spike2201's house, further North and West than here, but the sun was out, there were drinks to be had, and awesome conversation, so this is my past week in pictures.
When I was in San Diego, some of you know, my roomie kicked me out and did a runner with the majority of my clothing and belongings. Since then I've become a bit of a charity case, but my need for clothing was definietly met the other day when my best friend gave me an entire WARDROBE of clothing. I am so happy that I can choose from more than one of 4 outfits, I was beginning to feel like I constantly looked the same.
So I'm still selling art, I'm noticing a lack of interest here, c'mon people, I'm drawing and you're just dismissing! Get over here and have a gander would you! We can work something out and I also draw tattoos! I'm so confident at drawing tattoos that I tattooed one on myself, so seriously, have some trust!

HelenJade - Little Boats. Another UK chick, one of the most adorable SGs on the site IMHO.

In this week's blog I will be covering several topics. Some of them might be controversial. Feel free to stir the pot if you disagree with what I'm saying, of course, the real pieces of work here will do that in their own way.
I was looking at a girl with so much metal in her face I wondered if she sticks to the fridge when she walks past it. Now that's not usually something I would think, considering I have facial piercings myself but then again when it comes to her I'm rather biased.
Several times now I have received messages asking what I look for in a boyfriend. Well, you know what, I can't honestly tell you that, but what I can tell you (and pay attention now) is what I look for in an ex boyfriend.
- First, and this is pretty important, it's imperative that the man (child) in question acts like he's nuts. When asked "what's making you like this" he must come up with a really flimsy excuse about his mental state, due to "what he's been through" and demand that I accept his behaviour regardless of my morals, opinions, or beliefs.
- Must have a tiny penis. And I'm talking like the size of a pinkie finger. It's important that along with that he has no idea how to use it, like he just bought it yesterday and hasn't yet read the instruction manual. So much so that he either overheats and can't cum because he spends so much time trying to override the "I'm Embarrassed" program that he expends too much energy, OR he cums within about 30 seconds of sex beginning. Of course the whole time I'll be telling my friends he's incredible in bed, but once the relationship is over it's possible to reveal that sex with him was like fucking a lifeless stick on a mattress, and that I did better with my vibrator.
- Must have the most stupid and annoying friends I've ever seen! Nothing like spending my evening... every evening... with a bunch of jumped up assholes who think they're god's gift to women, pool, each other... SO MUCH FUN!
- Must refuse to cuddle in bed, in public, in general...
- Must snore, talk, or sweat in his sleep.
- Must get so drunk he falls over, and be so heavy I can't pick him up so I just have to leave him there to whine like an overgrown child.
- Must act like I'm the crazy one, due to telling the truth, expressing my feelings, and articulating my thoughts.
- Must be intensely jealous, so much so that I'm not allowed to be when I inevitably catch him out on lies about other girls or cheating.
- Must listen to nothing but dubstep/one rock band he claims to love but obviously doesn't love the genre.
- Must constantly whine about how his father abandoned him.
- The most amazing thing is complete lack of communication. Absolute best thing ever!
Isn't Game of Thrones kicking butt so far this season? Although...
On the plus side it's getting warmer here in England so I made this:
I've liked Paramore for years, but upon the recommendation of spike2201 (who weirdly is fast becoming a really good friend), I did get the new album. My favourite song is fairly beautiful, loving the harmonies integrated in the chorus, plus random glockenspiel in there too! The album is Paramore - self titled album. Give it a listen it's not 'arf bad!
I got Tomb Raider, the new one. I've yet to play it, but I'm hearing really good things... and bad things if you're Yahtzee...
Finally started reading The Casual Vacancy by J K Rowling. All I have to say is so far so good! I'll let y'all know more once I've finished it!
I've joined the "I have a working iPhone" club. Finally got my iPhone so I've been using it OUTSIDE THE HOUSE! 
And bugging the crap out of spike2201, Swazzy, expo, Avert, Waterfordman, hodor, jmdelaney, and slenderman using various apps and throwing photos at them. It's probable that they have seen most of the photos on this blog, actually. Sorry guys!
I was watching Once Upon a Time, and paused so I could run downstairs and grab a beverage, and this happened. I had to take a picture because I had to sit back down and laugh for five minutes.
My puppy has been doing a lot of this, recently.
I thought she might need cheering up, so I bought her a new collar.
My best friend Lindsay, her boyfriend Damon (who I refer to as Demon), and I went to see Dark Skies. It was really meh so if I were you I wouldn't bother, but they came round to mine afterwards and we had wine and they enjoyed Ginger's company.
I wandered around a store and found this little dude. Thought about buying him but I have enough issues keeping goldfish alive let alone something that barely moves at all!

Last weekend, spike2201 came over to hang out. While he was there, Ginger decided she wanted to show off, so she did this to her dog toy (notice how she managed to avoid chewing on my hat)

For a while, the bulb in my desk lamp kept repeatedly blowing. I had no idea why until I suddenly noticed this. Oops.
I managed to cut my hand with my own fingernails while I was asleep, so I made it into a funny face, but after that it's gotten quite red looking.
My friend Jess came over and we went for a walk in the woods... at 11pm. As you do. Ginger came with us. We heard strange shouting noises and things got quite Blair Witch-y, so we decided to call it a night.

I took Ginger for a three mile walk today. She pulls a lot. We saw a cow. It was uneventful.
I had brie sandwiches for lunch. I know that is weird. It was odd, but strangely successful.
This evening I got all dressed up to do my video, which I will be uploading hopefully soon if I can get the camcorder to work with regards to streaming. If I can't then I will have to dress up some more and try again, but I did at least take pictures of myself.

So after years of grappling with what do I write in this space that says "Blog Post" I have finally figured it out, and am intending to structure my blog posts as such!
So after a good month of being in England, slenderman has retreated back to Vancouver. This is both a bad thing and a good thing. Bad because I miss him, but good because I now have time to concentrate on my own shortcomings. Time to focus on work, and sorting out my various real life issues. Tomorrow I see my best friend again, she's been having a really bad time so it'll be nice to have her round so I can cheer her up.
I've been having a real issue lately with people who think they're above everyone else. Just because you had some unforeseen luck come your way does not make you better than me or any of my friends that you are using. People who are friends with me should realise that I'm quite a fierce friend, and even if it takes me a while to say hi, or to reply to someone's message, I will actually do it. Talking to someone with the expectation of them commenting on your set and then once they have completely ignoring them is childish and low.
So here's my effort to throw some pictures at you, since I have a habit of doing that.
Today I purchased myself a phone. I have had iPhones for several years now but my iPhone currently doesn't work in this country, so I thought "fuck it" and bought a new one. I'm really excited about being able to use my phone out of the house. I don't know if that's really pathetic or not... 
I also bought a phone case for it, this one in fact:
And I also bought a new name tag for my dog, since hers is somewhat, uh, AWOL.
Lately I've been staring at the book on my nightstand. It's somewhat daunting to actually think of prying myself away from my computer screen to actually read something, but this book is both very worrying and very exciting to me. Being 26, I more or less grew up with the Harry Potter books, the characters in it were only a couple of years younger than myself. I absolutely adored the books, much much moreso than the movies, so the book on my nightstand, J.K. Rowling's "The Casual Vacancy" is scaring me. Her writing was so good, so detailed, and so fantastical, that to think of her writing something completely different aimed at adults actually makes me bite my nails. I'm hoping against hope that it's actually good, I've heard it's good...
I watched the first episode of Season 3 of Game of Thrones. Really excited about this season. I'm not going to spoiler anything for anyone though. I'm nicer than that. I have a movie loaded up on my screen right now that I haven't started watching; it's called "Womb" anyone heard of it? Seems to be seriously weird, so it's probably something I'll enjoy...
Been playing WoW a fair amount. slenderman bought me Mists of Pandaria for my birthday so I'm enjoying going through the new content, even if it does make my laptop lag like a bitch. Also weirdly obsessed with a stupid flash animation game called Alchemy. Look it up it might make you more logical.
Completely obsessed with this song, and I have no real idea why.
I guess it just reminds me of the past year and how much I've been through. It makes me both happy and sad. Crazy huh? Not really.

As everyone knows, a picture says a thousand words, that is probably why I take so many. My memory is not very good any more, and things that happened yesterday can be extremely distant in my mind. So I take and take pictures. Some people think that being behind a lens detracts from the experience I could be having, but I disagree, because I wouldn't remember the experience at all if I didn't take the pictures.
Probably the most important thing (with regards to SG) that I've done this month was shoot three sets. I shot with Chocolat, Ante, and Miro on March 9th. The first set by Miro goes into member review on May 8th at 3pm. I won't be posting any spoilers of these, so you all can wait in anticipation for my nekkidness.
Before I post anything I'd like to say a big thank you to the people who read my last blog and donated to my friend's cause. She was totally humbled and overjoyed to receive those donations, and it made her really happy, which made me really happy for her. She is now in Kiruna.
So these pictures are not going to be in any specific order at all, because they've already been sorted into folders.
I brought my dog Ginger back with me to England, my Dad claims not to like animals at all but he is perfectly smitten with her. This is him taking her for a walk.
While I was living in San Diego my great uncle Alec passed away. I went to see my great aunt and she took me and my mother to the place where she scattered Alec's ashes.

He came to London to help out with the shootfest that happened there over the weekend of March 9th.
My dad had him help him and my brother in law to build a shed in my sister's back yard. He shoveled a ton of gravel (not exaggerating) and wore my dad's raggy clothes.
We haven't done too much touristy stuff, but we took a walk down the embankment.

The morning after the SGUK meet in London, we went out for "breakfast". I say breakfast most of us just had coffee. That weekend I had the intense pleasure of meeting someone I've wanted to meet since we first started talking, Swazzy, and also a guy by the name of Omaru, both of whom are great fun.

I will let you know as soon as I figure it out myself.
Since I was sixteen there have been people I think about daily. It royally pisses me off because they are not people I enjoy thinking about, but they have taken up residence in my head and now, nearly ten years later, they're still there, gnawing on my thoughts. What could I have done differently? I was a girl, naive, young, inexperienced in much except not giving a fuck. I never really did anything to hurt anyone if I could help it, but the world decided to turn around and bite me in the ass.
Since that day there have been more and more assholes taking up residence in my head. I've done the therapy, I've had the "get out of that way of thinking" training, but they never truly go away. So it has come to be that I am done. If you're an asshole, stay the fuck away from my head. There's no room in there for any more, and more assholes would push out vital song lyrics. I don't need your memories or repetitions of events that happened with you haunting my dreams and causing me pain. I want to evict the twats that have taken up residence in my brain.
I am amazing. Embittered cunts pretending it isn't so are just that. There's too much awesome here for some people to handle, I guess.
Yawn. That's about all I have to say today. We out.
