So, I only have one essay left until I'm done for the year, which is probably the best news ever (If you are me, I doubt it does anything for you. But hey, if it does - ....cool?). So this blog will be an ode to the things I have done this year instead of studying for exams like a good student should!
1. Books
1. Books
2. Events!
3. Travel and other things!
I think that's it?
I'll leave you with my Muxtape!

P.S.!
I'm tired of having to be the one who has to make the first move in regards to girls. Seriously. I may just become a Monk if it keeps going this way.
....My post just deleted itself.
Today sucks. I am banning Wednesdays for life. Update later, yo.

So, I'm back.
I will upload pictures from the crazy/potentially school-failing trip, but for now... this is probably the best thing to sum up the feelings of the past couple of weeks.

I'm back in the prairies for the holidays before the Winter term in Montreal.
I had a meet up with the people I volunteered with in Nicaragua this summer, and it reminded me of how amazing the feeling of backpacking with no timeline/deadline/lifeline is.

Tell me where you've been. Tell me why you are where you are now. Tell me where you're going.
I'm settled into Montreal now, more or less, so I guess its time for an update.
-School is going pretty well. I have some alright classes and I applied to do a year abroad in Paris at Sciences Po next year. Its going to be crazy expensive, but hopefully awesome.
-Involved in a fledgling NGO that plans to teach high schoolers about issues that aren't generally covered well enough but should be. Genocide, Poverty, War, etc. Basically we are creating a number of different "course packs" that we will present to classes to get them involved, and then helping them get involved if they want to. I really enjoy it so far, but its tons of work and I'm getting destroyed by midterms.
-Hung out briefly with the SGMontreal crew, which was pretty cool. Tons of fun, and they were really nice. Shazzy even knew about the fucking Subway Veggie Wrap place that keeps trying to fuck people over.
-Saw the Dalai Lama in Ottawa
....I'd update more, but its 4:18am and I am fucking tired. One day I will figure out how to resize photos and then I'll have an AMAZING BLOG for people to read. No, seriously. I promise.

Alright, SO.
Ive been gone for quite some time it seems. Where exactly? Well, thats the real question I guess.
I went down to Coachella in April and worked on a thing called Walk for Darfur before leaving for Nicaragua in early May.
Spent a month in Nicaragua doing volunteer work with an organization called 'Funarte', which gives street kids in Esteli the chance to learn about basic human rights through art and without any stigmas attached to them. It was amazing and I am really fucking happy I spent my time there.
After that finished, I headed up North and did a tour of Guatemala for a month and finally ended up in Honduras where I decided to get SCUBA certified on Utila, one of the Bay Islands.
Right.
After that, I trucked my ass back up to Guatemala and caught a flight... Guatemala City - Dallas - Calgary - Toronto - Montréal then a bus up here, to Québec city.
What am I up to now? Im learning (trying to learn) French in an intensive FSL class at Université Laval.
After this I move down to Montréal for school. Concordia to start, McGill hopefully next year. We`ll see.
Anyways...... Hi again, yo.
