I had an epiphany this weekend, and although I wish it could have led to better results, I do believe the conclusion was for the best. I have been friends with a couple for about ten years now; I had thought us to be best friends over that time. I recently found that his wife has been spreading rumors and intentionally sabotaging relationships with people whom have been close to me. I didn't want to believe the things people were telling me, so I just spent the better part of a year going to the sources themselves. After all, I have known these people for over ten years; I was not going to just believe anything out of hand. Recently I tried to talk with them both about this, presented the information I had found, and she immediately became defensive and elusive. I talked with him and the only thing he could say was she is my wife. I do not feel anger toward him; I understand his position but still have to sever ties with both of them. I do not need people in my life who wants to encourage drama and whom are untrustworthy. To you L however, I dedicate this little blog!
