well, i'm out in the new house with my pregnant wifey. things are going great. i am on 40 days of leave from the military before i report in to start work here. i spend most of my day going for a nice run and working out good (trying to work off the liquor weight) and working on the house. i am currently going cold turkey on liquor, beer, and sleep meds. long story, but i haven't slept well in years (injury) and sleep meds and gin were the only things i could trust to get me some sleep. so, i took the 40 days off to work all that shit out of my system and get back in good shape. don't worry...i ain't a complete quitter! i will still drink a bit watching football and seeing old friends



here i am at my going away BBQ drinking one of my final beloved coors lights sitting on my beautiful jeep (that i had spent 5 months doing a bit of body work). and below is my married man hobby.

so, i told the army (my employer) that my wife is prego. and they are now moving me to ft bragg to spend 3 years instructing future special forces guys and so i can skip the next iraq trip to be there for the birth, buy a house with my wife (since we currently live in different states), and spend a couple years in america to be a good daddy. i am definitely a guy that owes very much to the military leadership i have had the last couple years. my reputation has even somehow elevated through my injury over the last couple years.

oh, here is me and my sisters on my new years trip back home. love my family

i have not had much time to tell you. but one of the guys that put me in a coma two years ago, was locked up and thrown in jail last week! fuck yes! dumbass got a DUI violating his probation from my case. the judge brought me in and i got up on the stand and told the whole court all the recovery i had to go through from the injury.

over the last two years i have often fantasized of that moment. telling the judge and the whole court of what this fucker had put me through. and i fucking got to! and when the judge slammed the gavel and put that fucker in prison for 5 years...

i, and the DA (who have become my close friends) hugged and laughed. it was fucking glorious. i gotta throw in one of my hospital pics on this blog. the happy, newly married, army guy, SG fan was all but dead and gone a bit over two years ago. and now...one of the fuckers is getting buttfucked by large felons for the next 5 years!

never quit guys, if you want something and need something. never quit, be patient, and very persistent. you will fucking get it!

tomorrow is the first day i will be working day to day with my team since iraq. i finally got medically cleared and will be going back to doing daily what i want to do. finally! you guys have absolutely no idea how hard and how long my fight was to get back here.

with the big exception of not being able to live with my wife right now...life has gotten a bit closer to being one i can enjoy.
