I keep meaning to take new photos of myself for this site, but I always forget my camera at the salon.
One day I'll get a photo up that is actually current. Promise.

So, somehow a giant cardboard cutout of KidRock has ended up in my boyfriend's living room.
It is one of the creepiest things I've ever seen.
It's about 6' tall and has slightly larger proportions than an average size man.
Sounds like a perfect combo for my nightmare tonite.
I had my 22nd birthday last Tuesday, was very uneventful. The lust of boozing at bars is slowly dying down.
Until Jirafa turns 21, then it's going to be crazy insane.

So, I'm making the long term decision and journey of getting myself some dreadlocks tomorrow.
I was really nervous and unsure about it for the last few weeks, since I set the appointment with my friend, but now I feel totally different, I feel way excited and anxious, in such a good way. I can't wait.
It's a huge step for me, being a hair dresser.
First; I cut this mullet in my hair, now I'm locking up the back.
I'm going to have no pretty hair after tomorrow, and I'm so stoked about it.
Out with the old, in with the new!
I'm pitching out all my glosser serums and shine sprays, and replacing them with the exact opposite, locking waxes and stripping shampoos.
I should have a yard sale with all the hair products I'm not going to use anymore.
Silly.

I got engaged to the greatest boy ever, Joshua James.
I'm as happy as a peach.

Today he and I went on this Safari Zoo adventure with his family and 3 yr old neices, and it was by far one of the coolest things I've ever done.
It's in Ohio, and it's called Wagon Trails.
I've never seen so many exotic animals up close and in their natural settings, it was beautiful.
I've never had such a strong appreciation for the beauty of these massive creatures (except for the ostriches, they scare me.)
Elk are one of my new favorite animals.
And Josh bought me the cutest freaking stuffed animal ever.
Life is good.

Too cold to swim. Too cloudy to lay out.
It's a lose/lose situation for the summertime.
I woke up at 1pm today, went to bed at 11pm last nite.
Clearly, enough sleep. I have no idea how I slept that long. Whoops.
Now I have to run over to the salon to do my co workers hair, for free.
Pisses me off every time.

I hate it. I have no income coming in, but I end up being bored and spending the little money I do have, not to mention I still owe the hospitals money from my little organ crisis.
Gaaaah. It's a vicious cycle for money.
I ended up applying for another part-time job, had to bite the bullet. Need money.
Need more useless things;
Cowboy holster.
New lingerie.
New plugs.
Clothes, of course.
Purses.
New cowboy boots.
I've started to ponder the idea of a collection jar at the salon for lingerie and when it gets filled enough, I'll schedule a whole day of haircuts in that lingerie.
Free lingerie and more buisness.
It's a win-win situation.
Ohhhhh bummer.
