I sent one poor fella the wrong one (due to my low IQ..) so I did him a nice sketch on the parcel to make up for it... and sent him the right print free of charge of course.

On the evening of December the 8th 2012 my old friend Steve Andrews was senselessly killed while out celebrating his lovely partner Kerry’s birthday.
Now, not only are his family, and Kerry faced with the loss of Steve, but they will have to pay to have his body repatriated to NZ from London, to be buried. It’s an expensive business…and just another pain heaped on top of this tragic death.
We, his friends, want to help with this… and are fundraising to help cover the cost for Steve’s family and Kerry.

A little over a week ago my good friend Steve Andrews was senselessly murdered while out with his partner celebrating her birthday, in Putney, West London.

We're now raising money to help bring Steve's body back to his parents in NZ.

LOOK OUT BELOW!

Well today I decided to do something different in Auckland..... so I climbed over a chainlink fence, and climbed a cliff...it was fun, muddy, and bloody slippery... but it was a great view...



It also gave me some great reference for when I got back to draw! Then Catpig, my brother's cat, sat on my art and pencils and brought proceedings to a close...

Guess that's her way of saying to call it a night!

This year has been full of car crashes, family tragedies and odd life events... but through it all, my close friends and family have stood together, helped each other, and shown me how lucky I am.

I'm happy that we'll have stuff to show in the new year... and some new games afoot too!

ROUGH CUTSsssss

Just to prove I’m managing to get a little work done here in NZ, while visiting My Dad (who’s unfortunately ill)… some more thumbnails for SOLID GOLD DEATH MASK.

Had a lot to do in between hospital visits and stuff, so work has been sporadic, and it’s been tough to stay focussed.

We’ve been really lucky though… our family have all rallied together, and be so supportive. <3

It’s also given me the opportunity to find all my art from the fanzines and punk posters I did when I was a kid… so when I get home, I’m going to scan them and try and put a book together with my old Zine mates as a collection.

I’ve managed to get out to Auckland art gallery, and loved the inflatable ceiling flowers, the zoo, where I walked around looking like a member of Al Queda, as I hid from the sun… and drinks with my buddies Dylan Horrocks, Chris Slane, Ben Stenbeck, Ant Sang, and Lars Cawley! It was so great to see all these talented lovely guys again. I’m fucking lucky to have such great friends.

Thanks to all my friends back home in London too, especially Sofie and Lucy who are babysitting Ripley, my cat! <3
