I just took my trash out, and there was a beautiful white and cream colored cat that I've seen around the apartment complex that came-up to me. It was very sweet and friendly, and I was severely tempted to take it in. I've been thinking that my Moidyn needs a brother or a sister to keep her company while I'm at work. Even if this cat wasn't just a stray, the owners shouldn't be letting it out; it's far too heavily trafficked an area where I live to be letting animals run loose. 
I'll have to think about it if I see this cat again (it followed me back to apartment door from the dumpsters), and talk to my parents about it, since they would wind up being the ones who would pay any vet bills. Luckily, my sister is a vet, so she gladly does the labor free for our animals, but she still has to charge us cost for any medicines, which can get very expensive.

Hey man, I was reading Margot's blog and saw the thing about fleas. Ask the vet if they carry 'Knockout'-it's an aerosol spray, about $18 for a can, but worth it's weight in gold! It helps kill the fleas and stop their reproductive cycle. As long as you keep vacuuming and spray that stuff under and on everything, it will really help! Trust me, I HATE FLEAS!!! And definitely keep up the Frontline! Good luck!
