This cake took me forever! Making frosting trying to look like a quilt and trying to come up with all kinds of different fabric patterns was exhausting!


This cake also took forever, it's for a huge convention with like 1000 people - maybe I'll get more customers!

Oh my, I do so love Halloween. I bought a bunch of candy but didn't get a single trick-or-treator - even though the leasing office of my complex gave out plenty of big pumpkin signs to attract kiddies, and let them know which apartments were going to give out candy.

I must now throw it away or give it away so I do not eat them all, I already made peanut butter brownies at my bakery and brought them home. *looks down at ever-expanding waist and sighs*

Anyone else around here read any of Ellen Hopkins books? I've so far read these two:





I haven't read any of the sequels yet, but I will as soon as I can get my hands on them. I'm torn between being deliciously fascinated with them (I've always had an affinity for books about women and mental illness - Sylvia Plath and Susanna Kaysen being some of my favorite female authors during my angsty years) and being seriously disappointed in them.

Oh well, I'd really like to know what your thoughts are - and if you haven't read them I highly suggest you do. They're a super fast read, and something you won't be able to put down.
