ATT : Burning Skies Fans and People of the South West!
Ok, Some of you may have heard that last Friday night Merv , singer of Burning Skies, was attacked whilst leaving a club, a fucking coward who's name I won't mention, elbowed him in the face after positioning himself in front of Merv with his back turned and as soon as he was on the floor, 7 of them proceeded to punch and kick him. At some point during this they twisted his leg 180 degrees and repeatedly stamped on his leg and ankle.
Merv has been in the hospital since the attack and has had 2 surgeries on his leg. Details on how badly his leg is damaged are pretty sketchy at the moment but hopefully within the next few weeks we should have a better idea of just how seriously this will affect him.
Obviously because of this he's unable to afford rent etc so it'd be great if we could all come together to show him some love and ease his financial burden so he can concentrate on recovering.
The Venue is The Croft , Stokes Croft, Bristol.
It is fancy dress and there will be bands and DJs till the early hours so please come, dress up and join us for an awesome night of drinking and helping out Merv, one of the best guys in the world!!
