I just came up with a quick web browser hack/trick for those of you with a lot of bookmarks to manage. Scale back your bookmark list to just your favourites, and still have easy in-browser access to all your other saved pages. (and I'm not talking about Foxmarks!)

1. Export your bookmarks to an HTML backup file (other file types work too, but I found HTML gives better results, visually).

2. Save this file somewhere safe on your system and copy the FULL location to clipboard (i.e. it starts at c: or / or whatever represents the root of your system)

3. AFTER YOU"VE SAVED YOUR BOOKMARKS FILE edit the bookmarks in your browser and delete all but the ones you use most often.

4. Paste the location of your saved HTML file in the address bar of your browser and hit 'Go'. Your bookmarks shoud be displayed in the page like a website.

5. For easy access to them (and this is the clever bit!) bookmark this bookmarks page (you can call it whatever you want but I'd suggest...Bookmarks!).

In essence, for browser session purposes, you're turning all your single bookmarks (except the ones you frequent, of course) into one bookmark that you can easily access when you want to navigate to a lesser used page.
