I don't know if I said the right things tonight, probably not. But I do know that, for once in my life, I did the right thing that day. I'm sorry if you got hurt, but I did the best I could under the circumstances.

I cried as I made my way home, but not for the reasons you think. And the reason I cried is the same reason I'm sure I did the right thing.
