- December 28th (AKA today) - The first of many skating sessions with my new hockey boots!
- December 30th - UFC! My picks being Lesnar (by a slim margin), Cerrone, Fitch, Gustaffson, Hettes.
- December 31st - Sign my lease for my new apartment (anyone say ensuite?) and have a mad new years party at some dude's place... I don't even like him all that much but my friends will be there!
- January 2nd - Move into my new flat (apartment as some of you call 'em)
- January 4th - Back to work! Best job evarrrrr...
- January 9th - My brother's birthday, no doubt filled with nerdy times.
- PS - Dear Suicidegirls, your list creation system in blogs is about as wieldy as a 17 foot vibrator.
So a surprisingly large amount on, for me. Typically I hate the "New year's celebrations" jazz, I find them totally over-hyped. I'm happier just playing Skyrim (which is punch-your-face incredible, by the way), but I thought I'd make the effort.
Oh, and Christmas was alright. Mainly just got money (and the aforementioned hockey boots), but spent time with family, my best friends came up from England and we got absolutely smashed (natch). Frankly, just enjoying the holidays as they were meant to be enjoyed. Hungover, and generally not awake before the afternoon rolls around ![]()
And so, as I have been doing occasionally, here is my sound of this week...
The original song by new Glasgow band Cafe Disco:
And the new professionally produced version:

So, until my account runs out, I will simply enjoy new sets as and when they appear, chat to whoever, whenever the opportunity arises, but beyond that, I have given up expecting a better social element in this very specific environment. But, in the mean time? I'll be going out with friends, meeting family, playing games, still performing my ever so perfect job, and dancing like this...
- Had the interview for Rockstar North, it was sexy. Barely asked any questions, and the casual manner of the interview leads me to believe they had already made a decision, and just wanted to make sure I wasn't a total douche. I disguised it well for the interview so I think I'm in

- Been staying down at the caravan my family own in a really private posh little site. I know the immediate thought that comes to mind is "Gypsy", but it's not, I swear, haha. It's basically a really secluded place with one of the cleanest beaches in the UK (literally, been put on lists and such). I've been chilling mad style, and living well. So good to go from living out in Australia with no idea what was going on to just lying down in Scotland without a care in the world
- Bought metric fuckloads of games and dvds. I missed how CHEAP it is over here. Bought Dante's Inferno for £6, Enslaved for £8, Red Faction: Armageddon for £10 and Dead Space 2 for £15. Oh, and Kane & Lynch 2 for £5 (I know it'll probably suck but whatever, cheap as tits). DVD wise got the 2nd season of "Sons of Anarchy", as well as the films "Pontypool", "My name is Bruce", "Tucker and Dale vs Evil", and "Hobo with a shotgun". Pretty sweet times.
- Catching up with friends and such, no proper nights out yet, but I'm still stuck on the coast until I hear back about the job. Still fun to see everyone though, lots of surprised faces seeing how epic my beard has become

- Explosions
...okay so maybe there weren't any explosions, but it has been pretty cool! I just can't wait to hear back about the job. I'm feeling really confident about it, and I know that no matter what game it is, it's going to be slick as all hell. Lé excitement, I has one.
For those who are interested, it's THIS: SPY Mouse on iTunes
And yes, at only 99c, you'd be a FOOL not to buy it, haha. Hope you all enjoy
Other than that, just waiting for the 14th when I get to fly home and have my meals cooked for me and sleep in a REAL bed! I'm excited, are you guys?
